AnWsmum.. my thoughts will be with you this afternoon and we will all be holding your hand. I can't imagine how hard this is going to be for you, but hope you can actual take strength knowing we are all here worrying about you and hoping it is all straight forward and you find some kind of peace and closure at the end. Bless you, your dad, A and W..
Kaz.. happy birthday for yesterday.. my friends brother has his birthday the 29th Feb as well.. he'll be 24 this year.. and I was listening to a conversation yesterday in which a woman was saying her grandchildren who are twins were 4 yesterday.. so not only were they born on the 29th they are twins as well.. that can't be common!!

I didn't get back to the forum yesterday. (head full of cold & feeling grot)
The list started out in three neat columns - first row of numbers under 'Gas Mark'
Next row (140 etc) under 'Celsius' Last row (275 etc) under 'Fahrenheit'
Thank you Embb for describing flying to me, i guess i come under that catagory
Crafty looks like going by my oven dial that the marks are in Celsius because all i have is 130, 160, 240 and then Max and then dots in between, i've written all these down now in my cooker manual so thanks again
I've tidied my front room but:
I need to clean my suede sofa, which has become grubby from the dogs nipping on there when no one is looking. Can anyone tell me where they sell suede cleaner?

Morning all, i'm loving saturdays at the moment. LO goes to Mil's friday afternoon and i pick her up sunday afternoon, DH is at work, so i get up when i want and do what i want all day:D I have to work this evening but i dont care;)
On the subject of mothers day, i certainly wont be holding my breath for hubby to get me a card:rolleyes: Usually its my parents that do it because they know he wont.
Anw'smum am thinking of you this weekend, and for the rest of the week.
TD on, done an S&S in the kitchen, tidied up hubbys mess. He said to me that he's never here so it cant be him making all the mess:rotfl: Course it isnt dear...The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Cos I am one of those straaaaange folk that can't cope with dead things let alone dead people.. *most ashamed to admit that one* I can do blood, snot, faeces.. even vomit (usually) but not dead.. .. I can do dead birds and mice and fish.. but that's it!
Ummm! Pigpen - hate to be a spoilsport -but you have a dead body of your own to work on during a medical degree as you need to chop it up to learn about human anatomy. I don't know if you know that from your post.sorry - otherwise, i would say go for whatever your dreams are, because otherwise you will only live to regret it.
AnWs mum don't worry about PMing me till you have time. There is absolutely no rush whatsoever.
Embb thanks for reassuring me i am not the only one to not get thought of. He did offer to let me get myself a bunch of flowers for myself when we at the supermarket today, but i said no as it is not the same when you have got them yourself. I won't even have one made by DS as he has missed nursery from being ill all week. He did make me a valentines day card the other week though..
I am cream crackered already today. Just trying to get my head around the finances as we are trying to pay for the rennovations without touching savings. DH's CC bill for the bedroom furniture came this morning, and i am just trying to juggle some ideas around. I think DH may have to cash in his overtime which he hasn't done for a bit.
DH will also need at least £100 for a stag weekend next weekend, and we need to have cash the weekend after for his parents visiting. I'll find a way somehow.

My daughter always caught them when she was in primary school. Some parents do not bother to check their kids hair each week, i do, if all parents did then these pests could become instinct
My boys have always had their hair shaved to a number 1 by the clippers so they have never got them. My oldest son was glad when he went to secondary school because he can now grow his hairMy youngest son is due to start secondary school in September so he will be glad too

I'm going slightly madddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
Ok panic modes kicked in, the assignment I am working on is due Wednesday, DPs just pointed out I have done something else wrong, oh great, next ones due the Wednesday after and I haven't even so much as looked at it yet. I know I'll probably manage it, I've been here before but it's stressful all the same. Having lunch break now, soup and bread to keep me going. Filled the BM while I was making lunch for rolls (see if I can make some less pancake like!) I'll see if I can keep doing occupy boys, study and normal stuff that needs doing and get the balance right somehow.
AnWsMum it's not that grubby and no doubt it'll get much worse, money is filthy stuff.
Right, finish dinner, empty washing machine, set the boys something to do (getting the stopper back out of the salt pot after I pushed it right in by accidentkept DS1 occupied for a good half hour earlier :rotfl: ) then study until the BM goes off then do those. I think that's about as far in advance as I can plan at the mo as my heads in bits.
One day I might be more organised...........
