just managed another couple of hours school work in front of the TV with a glass of wine and some minsterels. Getting closer to sorted with every bit done, or so i keep fibbing to myself or i would give up completely.
Made a big vat of chilli this evening, and that left a portion for the freezer for next week. DH just tidying the kitchen and washing up, and then i think we both might collapse in bed as it is likely to be another early start tomorrow.- mark y7 h/w

Phoned my mum tonight to see if they want to go out for lunch on Sunday.
Yes that would be lovely, thank you. But if it's cheaper we can go another day! Very OS without trying! But we need to take her sunday to say a big thank you as she has dd2 3 days a week which, as you all know would cost a small fortune for creche! Just thought I'd tell you as I though it was funny!Need to sort my life out! :T0 -
It is windying and tipping with rain... and freezing..
I just went and spent £100 at tesco and never paid full price for a thing!!!!!!!!!

quiet in here tonight isn't it - have to say, i think my bag of minsterels might be as much as i get for mothers day. Last year i got nothing. I think there might be a card this year, but i am not getting my hopes up as valentines day was ignored too. Good job i don't get upset.
My to do list is a bit manic this weekend again. Must squeeze in getting a card myself and some flowers, and possibly see mum on saturday. We desperately need a good weekend at the DIY too though, as the next 2 weekends are frantic and then it is mat leave.
Will work on priorities i think:- [strike]strip and wash our bedding[/strike], remake bed
- [strike]food shop[/strike]
- hoover run around
- plan lessons for monday - y8 and y9
- mark remaining y9 test papers
- finish doing a test grid for y7
- try and mark some coursework - about 50 more pieces to go before 20th March
- clear the ironing pile
- [strike]buy m day card and flowers[/strike], and deliver them
- relist amazon listings, they will be sold eventually
- fill in sat marking contract - as the exam is the same week baby is due i think i will skip it this year.
- sort wardrobes out in room we want to decorate, so DH can
- break up wardrobes, and take to tip
- strip wallpaper in that room
- [STRIKE]buy paint for the room[/STRIKE] also got new light switches/covers, border, wallpaper paste, 2 new light shades, lightshade for our new room
- paid DH's credit card bill - yikes - New furniture on there
- washed Ds's bedding again after another leaky nappy
- emptied the airers - clothes just folded and put away, as lets face it, the ironing pile is big enough
- got cash out
- dealt with post - sent off NUT thing
- got Ds's feet measured and bought new trainers
- DH got himself measured for a suit for being best man at his friends wedding next month.
- let DS play on the park for 10 minutes, but it was far too cold
- booked a hotel room at said wedding, as we had a sudden thought it might be nice to have one last full night out BB (before baby) and if i am feeling tired, or DS needs a nap, we can go and have a lie down and leave DH doing best man duties.
Not MS, but definitely sanity saving.
hope the rest of you lovely flyers have some nice plans for the weekend.

Hello lovelies
Havent been on for a couple of days and apologies to Pigpen but I've done nothing this week, zilcho flying.
Have only scanned the last couple of pages as well so I really hope everyone is ok and coping with the pressures of home/work life and impending mothers day. I took the bull by the horns and invited my mum (and dad) for Sunday lunch as its my birthday weekend before we even knew it was mothers day but decided rather than let them down we'd go with the rip off!
As for my birthday - todayI am officially now 11 so, as my birthdays are not quite so frequent as everyone elses, we decide to open the wine at work at lunchtime - good job our line manager was leaving and joined us :rotfl: . have had a girly evening at home tonight with DD and the french student painting nails doing hair etc. As for presents, I made sure I got what I wanted as I bought it and told OH and DD to wrap them (altho OH did offer to give me the money) so dont expect anything for mothers day.
Pigpen - if you like the medical aspect of stuff why not think about a paramedic degree, long term its not as financially rewarding but I used to get a real buzz out of the job especially on blue light runs and miss it every day.
Cant make up my mind what to do tomorrow - birthday money to spend, DS want new school shoes and trousers and 2 girlies want to do shopping, so is it local or do I take a trip to Norwich or Peterboro (and the Lush shop)
Decisions decision but I think bed is calling now so will decide when I wake up (if early long trip, if late local)
