Hello ladies, did ya miss me (ok i know i've only been gone 2 days)

Our french student arrived last night and she is lovely, really sweet girl, glad I didnt get a lad. Littlemeister is still being an angel :A and is loving having someone else other than big bro to talk to/play with.

Havent done much flying as such and even though Ive been at home today I've been a lazy pig and just spent 2 hours asleep when I should have been playing catch up. I think the 4 mile trek doing school run and then dropping FS off coupled with trek round the town burnt me out!

Need to work out how to do for tea now, as would like to do roast but it means it would have to be a late one as have stupid times to do stuff. Collect DD 3.15, collect FS 5.30, hair appt 6-7, DS out at 6.30 til 9.30 and OH back from work at 7.30 so whichever way I do it someone has to have tea reheated.

    List so far this week

Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Sweep and mop floors
Sort & clean fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Open the cutlery drawer.. and clean and degrot in there
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean out the cupboard full of baking bits.. or cereal.. or both!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those filters and drawers for ickiness, gackiness and fluff!!
Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
Clean oven if it needs it.. or just do the hob or just a knob
32 fling boogie.. GO! Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET

Ruby Tuesday - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Check fire alarms are working
Fling open that window and blow those cobwebs out!! Air the room!!! Nothing worse than a bedroom smelling of parps!
    Remove and wash bed linen.
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
30 minutes floor clearance.. that includes floordrobe and junk!
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Sort 10 things from a wardrobe/chest of drawers that you can get rid of...
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs...
43 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
In your stash of 'things'.. sort through and get rid of at least a carrier full.. decluttering we call it!
Drag out the bed and clean the bed bunnies out!!
Wipe down the skirting in the bedroom and on the landing.

Got to update Quicken money now so see ya later

Pigpen - wow you got new bunnies
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

    Extra jobs I need to do;

    - vacuum stairs before I trip up on the dog hair
    - 5mGC
    - fill up bird feeders
    - washing machine load
    - dry for ten minutes and hang
    - wash spare dog duvet as they both have sick on now (never washed it last time).
    - work
    - right up evaluation of weekend course
    - 15 minutes of sorting out course notes and handouts
    - sweep all downstairs, vacuum and clean floors throughout
    - check piano tuner is coming
    - half hour watching birds and chillling out

    Hello everyone,

Rumblytum - the nose is no longer bleeding - thanks. But it feels a bit tender right up there. I can blow without seeing red.

Judi - welcome - you'll find this thread really will help you

AnW'smun - lots of POSITIVE vibes heading your way for the weekend. I'm glad you'll have your Dad there with you for moral support - it should make it easier for you.

    :cool:ORF update:cool:

Due to power problems at work today (of the type where if they didn't switch the whole lot off RIGHT NOW, there was likely to be a fire ) I have bagged some work to do at home for the rest of this afternoon and tomorrow. So, I've ordered my network camera next day delivery :D It'll be here tomorrow. I've decided it will be called Buster after the spy Buster Crabbe.... I'm quite looking forward to it.

    update off

Now off to do some flying whilst it's still light. I'll do the two hours work owing this evening.

Well flying hasn't completely gone out the window, I am going to be doing an HHC soon to get some junk sorted in there and then do the dusting. I am just sitting down to a nice cuppa after chomping some of my first loaf of HM bread. It is delish, will def not be buying any more bread from the supermarket. Children love it too DS had peanut butter on his and DD munched hers with just butter and is now crawling over with her bowl so think she wants some more. I can't wait to try it out on some hot X buns that will def save me some money as DH and DS live on them at the moment.

    Ooooh soappie...how exciting!

I've got the piano tuner here as we speak and he needs a quiet house so I can't do anything apart from post on here and read my book. How cool is that!!!

Can't quite believe i've done most of the list! Just kept doing bits. Typical...where is pigpen when i've actually done something!

This will make you laugh. DH went away yesterday lunchtime. I've just noticed the car isn't on the drive. Slight panic though who'd want to steal it i'll never know! Anyway, I phone up DH who tells me it's at the garage...he forgot to tell me. It's been there since Sunday night and it's taken me all this time to realise. I wouldn't mind but I must have walked down our drive at least 20 times since then! At least it shows I don't use it much! xx

Back from helping in school so having a much earned cuppa.

    **moan alert**

They have a bookfair at school today/tomorrow with a really poor slection of full price books. They are really drumming it into the kids to come and buy a book (the school gets commission) all the kids today were saying we need to go and you can buy online etc. I hate this kind of emotional blackmail. I will pretend the online bit is amazon and let DS3 choose a book from their (I need to do an order anyhow) so that I get the commission.

**moan over - feel better now**

Back to my PTA notes - plan to have them done by 4:00 so I can do tea before swimming run.

We have that three times a year dusty and it's always the same few mums who buy as they feel guilty. I taught mine the value of money and took them to the charity book shop with the same amount of money - they got half a dozen books each! Emotional blackmail - grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
