Ironing finished, prunning finished and in the recycling bin - lunch in the AGA. My afternoon to help in school so wont get the living room done. Need to find my list of other bits I can do.

Shell your kids are at prime age for getting germs, I am guessing they are at preschool/nursery/reception. It is a whole new germ pool. Is is colds/tummy problems? You know you don't want to give them junk! Homeopathy was good for mine. Lots of fresh air is good. Don't use antibacterial cleaners etc. Hugs hun, sick kids are tough.

kdean - like I said before, the things people buy sometimes! Haha!!! :) Thanks for the info on your breadmaker! I am going to buy one, soon. I am normally like you in that I want things NOW but, I am just so busy at the moment - I won't have time to use it so, will wait a few weeks before ordering one. I want to give it my full attention!! Would love to hear about what recipes you try that are good, etc. Thanks again! Ash xx

And just to add - I cannot believe Ferrari charge £400 for the priviledge of a NAME! It's crazy!!

Hiya Dusty, how are you? We're getting loads of birds now so you were right in telling me wait a bit.

Galant - fabulous on the smoking. I've still not eaten chocolate...just forgot to write that. In a dilemna though as my dad buys me a posh bar every couple of weeks, really, really nice stuff. Do I just eat that as it's not as much as I used to eat or do I ask him to stop? Mmmmmmm......there could be worse things to worry about lol!

Right, i'm off to work for an hour then i'll finish my list and finish sorting the conservatory out. Speak later xx

    Hi everyone,
I haven't looked at posts so I hope you are ok. I've been out this morning, but I've just given downstairs a tidy and put DW on. I've got to get a load in WM too.
I think I'm going to do the downstairs today. The lounge and dining room and do our room tomorrow. I feel a little bit out of sorts, but will also give everywhere a general tidy. I'm going to have a think about lunch, now and then start moving....will catch up later...
  • urgh - I am just making more mess - I cannot for the life of me find a pe kit order sheet and I know I picked one up last week -where did I put it?!

DH is a star - I emailed cooker manufacturer a Q and got a one line respone that could have been interpreted either way - all sorted now... will order later - as a treat for making some sort of difference upstairs... I NEED to be ruthless, just forgotten how :rotfl:

kdean - have fun with your BM!

Heard it all now. On the radio news

    Unauthorised school absence is up
    Authorised is down

I wonder if that has anything to do with schools not authorising holidays anymore but parents taking kids out anyhow.

    God I hate useless statistics!

Mudbath I'm good thanks. Final PTA handover tonight and feeling really releaved. Using your idea of doing a little in the garden everyday is great - might come unstuck when it is warmer and I will be loathed to come in! Have slept well since the reflexology. If I go again in the future I think I'll try another therapist.

Right off to help in school now. Swimming tonight and need to pop into ASDA - I do park in their carpark for swimming so not a hassle.
