  • Good luck at the weekend AnW'smum, and for the inquest next week. We are all so inspired by you, and sending you positive thoughts and hugs.

pigpen - joking aside, I am inspired by your signature. How did you get rid of your debt so quickly? Oh wise one, please teach me your ways. :o

  • Hey,

Congratualtions to Solwaykid on your promotion :j

I think the wind/rain has blown away my motivation (or it could have been the strop dd2 threw when she found out that it wasn't a nursery day today :rotfl: ) or else it was the numpty that fitted my kitchen - just as well I don't know who they are!

So coffee 1st then I will kick myself upstairs and try and find some carpet before I do anything else...

    Morning All

Didnt get on yesterday as DD2 off nursery again!! This time throat infection, am worried it could turn into the scarlet fever thing her sister had a few weeks ago so they gave given her antibiotics rather than leave it for a few days. This means I have been up since 4am watching Fireman Sam.

Can anyone suggest anything I can give to my kids to stop them getting ill so often? Am thinking of changing their diet to chip shop teas everynight as all the kids that eat nothing but junk dont seem to get ill:confused: .

    So far today I have:-

WM washed through with bleach (was smelling funky)
Drains all given good doush of bleach
    Hoover through
    S & S kitchen
    Mopped floors

    Other jobs to do

    Parcel to PO
Get plastic beakers for girls rather than sports bottles (on a germ hunt!)
    Mothers day cards
    Put ironing away
    Marinate chicken drumsticks for tea
    Put WM on
    Make bread rolls
    Pop books back to library
Drop bag of clothes to Charity Shop

AnWs Mum - Sorry your SIL is so totally useless. You have got enough on your plate without having to worry about how others are going to handle things. Hugs to you! You really are such a lovely person, despite all that you have going on you always have a kind word or worry for others :A .

Pigpen - ouch on the bum bruise. Hopefully now its turning black it will not be so painfull

Embb/Michelle - hope your little ones are on the mend soon. That is so the reason I worry about working during the week as I have no-one round I could ask to watch the kids if they were ill. Its so har to know what to do for the best.

Week 2 of Fly Lady. If I keep it up I won't have any knickers left. I'm sure I was urged to throw away 37 pairs of knickers last week too!

I am not sure all flyladies where knickers and think they are encouraging others to join them:rotfl:

  • Morning all

solwaykid - well done on your promotion :T :T

soappie - Hope you've recovered from your nosebleed, you poor thing. I hate them.

superpup - Welcome. I also work full time, and find that I can't do everything on each daily list, but just doing some makes the house a pleasure to live in, and is inspiring to do more. Saves spending the weekend blitzing the house too, so is very much worth it.

Having said that, I didn't fly yesterday :o

Got up, made breakfast, went to work for 12 hours, train was delayed, car broken so walked half an hour home, and was shattered when I got in. Cooked supper, hung up two loads of washing, and collapsed

Trains were up the creek again this morning, so I'll have to see what it's like tonight, but hopefully will be able to Level 1 the Monday and Tuesday lists at the very least!

    Have a good day everyone.

Shell remind me how old your little ones are.

Dalies done, been in the loft to put a few bits up and get a few bits down.

Been to the post office, washing on the line, next lot in.

Beavers place has come up for DS3 after easter, he is very excited. I told him his name has been on the list since he was a baby and he said 'how did you know when I was a baby that I would want to be a beaver you are very clever'

Time for a cuppa and then finish the ironing so I can hoover the living room.
