How come I only ever find dead wasps, dried cat / dog sick and dust bunnies? And it was MY extras I did not yours so you're not allowed to shout at me. Do you ever have that sense of doom that something not good is going to happen? Maybe I just need to eat some more. Right, i'm going to bed! Shattered. Night all xx

Hi
I'd like to join. I would like to read through all the thread but it's really late and I have to get up for work in the morning. (Also, this site is one of the reasons why my house is a complete !!!!pit)
What do I need to do please?
I used to subscribe to flylady in my old job, but by the time I'd read the daily digests and done a full day's work, I was to krackered to do anything when I got home.
Do I need to shine my sink?
I really want to just keep on top of normal day to day stuff before I start to add anything in. I don't get home till around 5.30 pm and get up too late to do anything in the morning. Wow, only a few paragraphs down and I'm already making up excuses
I don't do ironing. Could do with ironing a few bits for work at the start of the week but usually manage without. Amazing how hair straighteners can sort a creased collar out
My biggest fault is not clearing up the kitchen properly after using it. And I really should vacuum every day but don't. And I don't put stuff away. I think my main problem is I'm a lazy cow. But the stupid thing is, if I go to a friend's house, I clear up for them whether I've helped make the mess or not and not because I think it's expected of me because it isn't. What's wrong with me?
Help me please?

Pigpen/Pink Fairy/any doggie lovers - I'm thinking about getting a dog. A wee one as I have quite a small house and when my aunt's dogs are here, one German Shepherd and one Yorkie (see avatar), the GS just looks huge!! I looked after a shih tzu (sp) last year and loved him to bits. My aunt thinks I should get a dachshund, but only because she wants one. Anyone got any advice? oh and Pigpen - did you decide what to do about bunny?
NSN - I'm a bit obsessed with Stardrops. There is a third one, starpines I think its called? I was going to buy it, just so I had the set, but decided that was ridiculous and not very money saving!
Time for bed I think. Night night xx0 -
Hi superpup
I used to work full time and the house was more tidy then than just now!
I wouldnt bother subscribing to the thread. Just hop on and catch up with everyones posts when you get a chance, but as you know, we are a chatty lot.
I tried to do a HHC (Half Hour Challenge) in the evening. It really is amazing how much you can get done in that time. Also try to get as much done in the evening for the next day.
Dont despair. The wiser peeps on here will have better advice for you xx0 -
Morning ladies.
Had a good night's sleep. No more nose bleeding (phew!). Wet and windy here this morning but the birds are still determined to do their morning chorus.
Superpup, I work full time and find that even if I just do one or two things on the daily list of an evening, the place is much more together than it would have been.
Right, what do we have for today? I get off easily - did the bed linen on Sunday
Have a good day ladies

Superpup, welcome to the thread. Page 1 of the thread is updated every evening with tomorrows tasks. Plenty of folks on here are away from home all day too and you'll be amazed how much you can get through in just half an hour. You don't have to shine your sink. It's a little more relaxed than U.S. Flylady...and you get better banter too.
Have a good day all, I'll catch up this evening.One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400
