I've not done badly actually. Didn't do all of level 3 but did lots of extras. I can't believe i've got DD to sleep quickly tonight. I did 10 mins reflexology on her and told her it would make her sleepy. Who knows if it was because I told her she'd be sleepy or if it worked but she fell asleep in a few minutes....it normally takes two hours. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
  • Well done on your promotion Solway Kid. Yey

Woo hoo, Everton won tonight :T :T :T No doubt my other team, Hearts, will bring me down to earth with a bump on Wed night. G&B, are you the Rangers fan? On this thread I mean :rotfl: I'm sure that there are more than 1 Gers fan on this site ;)

Did we get a winner for last weeks throwing the knickers out? Was it Jill that threw out 40 pairs or something like that? I MUST clear out a space for BFs stuff. Been meaning to do it for weeks, but am just about there with the bedroom so might get it done tomorrow.

Right, quick tidy and pack lunch for DD. Then settling down to watch Damages. Its the best programme on tv!

I was waiting up assuming DD2 would wake for a feed around 11.30 but of course typical, she hasnt. I just know as soon as I turn the light out and lie down upstairs, she will wake up .....
... and she did, exactly as expected.
So I went tobed early tinight, with laptop, hubby has gone to the pub, and I have had to get out of bed 3 times for her already, once to feed her and twice for the dummy gggrrrrrr. Hope she isn't getting another cold. Or maybe its a growth spurt. In any case, just in time for the early starts as we start back to school tomorrow......

We had a nice last day of hosl here (inset day). DD1 had her usual swimming lesson this morning and she was a complete STAR, I still go in with her, she did everything she was supposed to, we were high fiving all over the place, she had a ball. The normal teacher was away and the temporary one did everything in a mad order, I think DD liked the element of surprise rather than the same boring stuff she's been doing since the year dot.

This afternoon we went to our lovely country park that we have season passes to, and the kids had a ball. My friend and I froze our bits off though, it was bittery cold just sitting watching. I took LO out of the pram for a cuddle to use her as a hot water bottle :rotfl:

Me list update, got a fair bit done today, quite chuffed.....

  • Lil_me - thank you for the hug. I hate having to ask people to lift or reach things for me!

SSL - She was a Jack Russell cross, possibly with a dachshund, very sweet, but noisier than my two. DD came home for dinner and said a friend might need to get their dog rehomed as the landlord isn't happy, so I can see I may have another guest.:exclamati

    Tia - that's great! I love a happy ending!

Kdean - when you have to clean up after them it's really easy.:rotfl:

Well, I really don't have time to catch up with you all tonight, need a bath for aches and pains and still got to print stuff for work tomorrow! Hugs to anyone who needs or wants one.

AnW's mum - hang in there.
