Week 2 of Fly Lady. If I keep it up I won't have any knickers left. I'm sure I was urged to throw away 37 pairs of knickers last week too!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

:j Good Morning Everyone :J
Well the weather here is pantsbut DD and DS have playschool/school today so I get a whole 2 hours to myself although i plan on flying for most of that. We will see if it works out. Hopefully i won't have to ring up playschool to check DD is alright today.
DS had his friend round. What a nightmare so diffiult trying to keep 2 independent 4 years old happy when there is a 2 year old around.
At what age do you all let your children upstairs to plan in their room alone. DS's friend seemed to want to play in DS bedroom but DS is not allowed to play up there on his own. Am I a meanie mummy?
Well anyway of to find my list , go shopping, library pop round my mums then take DS and DD to playschool/school.
Hope you backside is feeling a little better today pigpen and all those that are feeling slightly under the hope you feel better soon.

I let my LO play on her own in her room, but i live in a flat and her room is right next to the living room and i can hear her. She is 4 too, as long as his room is safe for him i would let him play on his own. What are you worried about him doing while he's on his ownThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Mine have always played in their room.. Tiddles used to goup to play as soon as she could get up the stairs by herself .. once mine learned to go up the stairs I taught them to come down safely too.. saved them learning the hard way.. usually she would just shout to me to go get her.
I think it is important they feel they can retreat to the privacy of their own room if they need a bit of alone time..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
G&B my son can be very resourceful!!! We don't have a key to his window , something that maybe I should sort out before i let him play up there. He can be very cheeky at time.January Grocery 11/3740

Well if you dont think the window is safe for him to be around dont let him play. However if he is anything like my LO she gets up and plays in her room for a bit before she comes through to us. I would be worried about that window! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
