Pigpen thanks for giving me a much needed giggle this morning. I am pressuming you don't mind me giggling or you wouldn't have posted it :D Pregnant cat, are you mad?!!! Actually stupid question which I already know the answer to. Good luck with it, don't think I would be that brave, can be costly and time consuming aswell as rewarding of course. If you contact the local CPL they might have a waiting list of suitable homes for kittens.

Michelle, hope Charlie is feeling better soon, silver linings and all that with having an extra at home day I suppose.

tia, lovely, I am sure they will remember each other, Megan remembered her original handler some 7 years after last seeing him. There is a Sibe and a Malaute on dogpages at the minute needing rehoming and I am having to grit my teeth and resist emailing! My DS2 would be in heaven if I did as he loves huskies and malamutes because of how much they are like wolves, but it's just time at the minute. I have 2 which are about enough to deal with when it comes to fitting them into the daily routine.

Well I have made myself study today before loging on, after dealing with the dogs, I have completed the first question this morning and it wasn't that hard :j so hoping the others are as ok and I can get at least 1 a day done, I might even manage some of 1 this afternoon.

First things first, pesky oven to sort out (figure how to use that ovenmate stuff, just hoping I have some spare gloves in my stash) then lunch!

(Oh and DP driving me nuts moaning about his toothache, I wish I could do something to help but I can't, he's at the dentist tomorrow AGAIN so hoping this time he comes home without toothache!)
One day I might be more organised...........

Try some witchhazel on that Pigpen......

Vacuumed right through downstairs and then went over the shops and paid the paper bill. That gave the dog a walk too.

At least he picked a day when i had a lot of lessons and it gives me a break from standing up in front of kids all day. Just as i thought, he's only a bit off it. He hasn't really touched the ravioli and toast i made him for lunch, but he has eaten a couple of yoghurts. And no sign of any bug otherwise. I think they like to react quickly at nursery, which is sometimes an over-reaction if you see what i mean.

I'll still keep him off tomorrow and send him to one of my sisters. No point him picking anything else up as they currently have conjunctivitis doing the rounds as well as this bug.

pigpen ouchy. Hope that wears off quickly. And pregnant cat - yes you are mad.

haven't really made any use of my time off yet. I've watched Barney  and played with bricks, and most importantly caught up here.

This afternoon i guess i should sort out washing up, and trying to do a tidy up/run a hoover round. I may even get the ironing board out if DS sleeps this afternoon.

  • why did nobody call me?! :rotfl: I really *should* wear a watch!

Well my slightly extended HHI resulted in me seeing the bottom of an ironing basket :j whats more, I was so excited that I put the heap of bedding that was NEXT to the ironing basket into the empty space I made... and it was a level ironing basket! (so then I took its twin upstairs) It is just a shame the TD has finished...

pigpen - arnica cream is great for helping brusing to heal (although can't be used on broken skin)

PoA ---> find the worktops then wipe them

    oooh - coffee :D
