Well, the best laid plans of mice and men, and all that. 5 mins into my 1st lesson, nursery rang as DS has a stomach bug. Apparently he is one of several they have sent home today. So, having arranged work to leave my classes, and cover teachers for the rest of the day, thanks to my lovely HOD stepping into cover y11 lesson 1, i now have a bonus day at home, providing DS is not too ill. To be honest, these things are pretty short lived normally, and i would be surprised to have too much bother with him today.
- [STRIKE]packed lunch made[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]drop DS at nursery, pay bill by cheque[/STRIKE]
- teach 4 lessons - student on interview, so i have to deal with year 11 today.
- break detention for any y9s who didn't do h/w
- [STRIKE]speak to form tutors of 2 kids who didn't do detention last week[/STRIKE]
- put 8GH scheme on R drive
- [STRIKE]speak to K about having a copy of one of his worksheets to go with that scheme[/STRIKE]
- mark y9 h/w
- mark some y9 books
- try to finish 8K scheme
- [STRIKE]pick up DS[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]drive home[/STRIKE] - evening bed and bathtime routine
- cook salmon, wedges and salad for dinner
- deal with post
- do some ironing
- collapse in bed
- need to arrange someone to have DS tomorrow.
WM - load of soiled clothes

Good morning everyone :hello: ,
ok well so far I have managed to deposit all the little people at school, DH at work, DW, WM, TD and catch up on the thread
I am feeling in a "can do" mood today :j I am putting it down to the fact that last night I had a bubble bath, face mask, defuzzed legs (so I can wear a skirt today :rotfl: ) AND I dried my hair with the hair dryer - so feel really good
SSS - well done for sorting your computer *although next time I would make OH do it with no hints!
Everyone who has poorly little people - I hope they are better soon,
Vanilla - if your vouchers don't come through in time have a wee look here http://www.glasgowmuseums.com/ and I hope you have a great break!
and a :hello: to everyone who has joined,
ok DH has informed me that I am not working after 7.30 :rotfl: so the bit that went unsaid is *we will then choose and order a new cooker* I know that is what he was thinking:rolleyes: honestly we are so on the same wave-length about this. I have long standing issues with the cooker - I spent the month before we moved in here cleaning it. DH was convinced that there was rust on the inside of it - he didn't belive it was grease. I used every cleaner known to man and the smell in the kitchen did go, but there are some longstaing bits that I just can't get rid of. Since the 2nd oven isn't working properly now I think it is time to say cheerio - and there is no light inside the oven - yep convinced myself this is the way forward!
Plan of action---> HHI, and then start on the kitchen.0 -

Thanks, I'll have a look at that.0 -
