  • 15mins left before I need to start the school/work collection run and since I have been clearing the hotspot of doom (aka breakfast bar thing) I am stopping to have a coffee. I do not think it would be possible to find such an random mix of "stuff" in any other kitchen - although I am sure you could try and prove me wrong ;) :rotfl:

lil_me - Thanks for the freecycle idea - before when it was working and I dreamt of replacing I was going to donate to the council run furniture redistribution scheme - now that it is a bit squiffy freecycle would probably be the best plan.

    SSS - wtg ;)

Tashja - although you haven't caught up with everyones posts you list will have loads of strikthroughs - mine  I might manage level 1 today :rotfl:

oh dear gtg - it is chucking down - catch you all later!

Where has my motivation gone:confused: I only managed to clean out the birds and unclog my hoover in half an hour. I really need an early night. And a massage, all the muscles in my neck are aching. My mum thinks i should take up a more ladylike sport where i dont get beaten up:rotfl:

Ooooh Pigpen - lots of new kittens to look forward to ;)

    So far today I've:-

Emptied DW and put dishes away
    TD x 2
    WM x 1
    Put some washing away
    Dough rising
    Drunk lots of coffee
Finished the last of the flapjacks (well three of them actually:D)
    Watched Doctors

    Need to do:-

Take batteries out of DS's pirate ship so I can take it to charity shop (no sense in giving someone free batteries too!)
No sign yet of my meal plan  Need inspiration/motivation
Decide what to have for dinner (probably pasta again!)
    Sweep kitchen floor
    Wipe kitchen surfaces

Had a busy week last week so not much flying done and this week isn't looking much better as I'm at work every morning, tomorrow afternoon I have parents visiting, Wednesday afternoon I have a friend visiting and Friday I have my 9 year old grandaughter visiting for the weekend - only 3 years between her and my youngest son and they get on like a house on fire but it will severely restrict any flying :o

Was just going to do a [strike]few odds and ends [/strike] full clean of the kitchen when the church magazine arrived. So I sat down for a quick read (yes I know, lots to do - but really - be handed a piece of paper with writing on it and not read it straight away???? as if!!!) Anyway, I saw the verse below and thought of all the irritating husbands and partners I have been reading about on here so thought you might enjoy the following excerpt:-

    A PRAYER

    Dear Lord,
    I pray for the Wisdom to understand my man;
    Love to forgive him;
    and patience with his moods.
Because, Lord, if I pray for strength,
    I'll beat him to death.
    Amen

AnW'sMum hugs hun, will you have to say anything next week? Will it just be one day?

Thanks Dusty it's Wed/Thurs next week but I am not being called so will just be sat there listening :( I am so p*ssed off with my SIL at the moment. I told her how it will all work next week so that she can be as prepared as possible. I asked her to brief her mum so that she knew what was coming as well and to try and persuade her not to attend as it will not change anything and DH will not be coming back. Asked her this afternoon if she had spoken to her 'No she needs to make up her own mind' How (excuse the French) !!!!!! can she make up her mind if she isn't told what will happen :mad::mad: So it seems because she has no back bone I am going to have to speak to MIL...... rant over .....for now!

Thank you !! Can I just say how I admire your courage AnW'sMum? along with your ability to take part in banter and humour that must have a painful edge for you. I haven't been reading this thread for all that long so I don't know a lot about your history, but from what I have read I do know that you must be one of the nicest, warm hearted, thoughtful and courageous ladies I have ever come across.

    That's great Taurus :T :D

AnW'smum as if you haven't got enough to deal with without outside influences causing major headaches (((((hugs))))

Michelle meant to say earlier, I loved your 4D scan pic, I just went awwwwwwwww when I seen it, it's precious x

Lil_me it sounds better than it really is, I just want to see how much the council would sell it to me for and how much discount I would get, my thinking is it may be cheaper to pay a mortgage then full rent which is usually the case, I'm under no obligation but if the numbers are right I'm gonna buy it.

Well, had a nap, work phoned so got some jobs booked for this week, went round to OH's and got duly told off for being cold, !!!!!!! So I left and came back home again, think I'd have lamped him one if I'd stayed, I'm far too busy to be putting up with his nonsense, what a nob!

So I've warmed up now :D having a cuppa then gonna prep the veg for tea, got a reduced turkey in foil thing from Iceland a couple of weeks back so gonna bung that in the oven too.

That's just made me cry :o I think we all reiterate that sentiment, AnW'smum is the biz!
