Molly, it does take a while to recover after quitting the booze, but it depends on how much you drank before. I know from my one and only previous quit it was around the 30 day mark when I actually woke up and thought I felt normal. Hang on in there and keep going, I'm taking a vit supplement as well, maybe that might help for you? I'm taking a multi-vit but make sure it's got a B12 supplement cos this gives your liver a speedier recovery. Eat lots of green veg too, dark green veg. This helps the liver which in turn makes you feel better :)

Re the smilies, same thing happens to me. I find I have to open the smiley window, click back into my message and click where I want to insert it, then go back to the smilie and click it to insert otherwise it ends up at the top of the message!

You know what, I have so much time in the morning now, I'm not doing anything differently but normally I'm rushing around like a blue-bummed fly trying to get me and the kids out the door in the morning but since I've been waking up un-hungover'ed I've had time to even check my emails!

Right better go work before I'm late, don't really have time to sit on here all day ;)

How's everyone else? YM, hope it's going well, is it day 3?

Leigh, please post and let us know what's happening with you x

BHB, doing any more mowing today? Get the ribena ready just in case ;)

SM, ISOM, Lurky, Shopaholic, Nearly-there, Basil and everyone else I've missed, hellooo

    Yeah.Morning AB.
I really do feel better. My skin is clearer and my eyes are sparkling again and I do feel wonderful when I wake without a hangover.
Day 22 today so only 8 days left to Jo's magical 30.Hope I feel really back to normal then. This weekend was really hard.I really needed a drink.Oh well.Maybe its hormones.
Think I will get some Multi-vits today as Jo suggested.See if they buck me up a bit.

As for the smilies. When I open the window and click back to my post the window closes again.

    See you later.Love Mollypolly xxxx
