Just wanted to say hang in there to Basil and leigh hopefully something better will come up on the job front for you. :grouphug:
Winebox, we live out in the wilds too and one of my worries about my drinking is the realisation that if the kids or I needed help we'd be right in the S**t if I'd had my bottle and wine and couldn't drive. Hadn't really given it much thought (or just thought nothing like that will ever happen) until one of my darlings pointed it out in their usual blunt way!! Anyway I to am finding this thread has really let me 'say' whats been niggling for a while and it feels really good.

Just wondered what is/are everyones triggers to drink? I have decided mine are 1) journey home from work - I just think to myself that I deserve a drink to reward myself for another boring day at work completed! 2)Watching my fave programmes on TV and 3) Sunday afternoon cos I know it's work again in the morning!! I also 'NEED' a drink after any stress I encounter - coping mechanism developed after my first marriage ended I think!0

My triggers for drink are
Off work
Sun Shining
Moon out
A weekday
A weekend
A day
Loads really and any excuse.0 -
