  • Hi Again All,
Blimey - Busy this morning! (OK its now afternoon)
    Well done Shopaholic! :T :T

Great News about the test Jo. Thats fantastic. Sigh of relief hey? Now you are winding me up now. I'm a school & youth centre caretaker and we have gone back today after our two weeks off. (Though I have done bits and pieces in the hols).
But starting two weeks holls today is just rubbing salt in the wound of going back to work today ! ;)

Anyway - heres a funny thing:
We are helping organize our smallholders group annual show in the summer and we are charged with, amongst other things organizing the beer tent .
We have just been to the local brewery who are going to run it, to sort out the finer details. Really pleased with myself - no tasting and no samples and I didn't buy anything from the brewery shop. It is my favorite beer too!

    Didn't I do well?

    Andy

Andy, you did fantastic! Well done :D

I don't know why our borough decided to have the easter holidays at the wrong time, but suits me :D

Feel sorry for a colleague of mine though, we start our holidays today but her 3 kids go to school in a different borough and are going back today!

Hi all. 4 days with no booze for me, but that's not massively unusual as I'm a binge drinker :0( So the real test will be when i go out this Friday, ridiculous I know, but I feel stressed just thinking about it and it's only Monday. LOL.

Andy - I read 'feel the fear...' when I was in my 20s and thought it was really good. This weekend I've just started reading ' The road less travelled' which I'm really enjoying too. Although it's making me question alot about myself, which at the moment is a tad harrowing. I'm not feeling like a very good person, but I think that's part of the process you have to go through to make any meaningful changes.

The doode who wrote the book reckons a life without pain isn't a real life so all of us lot must be well and truly experiencing life as it's supposed to be! LOL

Reading is great for taking your mind off things - just tearfully finished Kite runner and last week a thousand splendid suns...both I would reccomend ad ATSS was possibly the best book I have ever read, if harrowing!
Hang in there pepys...well done for resisting BHB! Jo what about park, swimming, reading, playing board games etc...trip to library, dvd (from library)...
