  • Hi all

It is so busy on here now!!! taken an age to read all the new posts, Hi to everyone!

Well, I made it through the weekend! Had four cans of Kaliber with lime over the course of it and plenty of cups of tea! I must admit yesterday was a killer, I ALWAYS have at least a bottle of wine on Sundays, I say to myself it is my treat before I have to go back to work on Monday!! Anyway, I busied myself planting seeds in my greenhouse all afternoon and had a (very) early night - 8.45pm!!

I feel soooo much better having done 7 days, my eyes are brighter, my tastebuds have come back to life and it is so nice to feel well every day instead of groggy!

Jo - Congrats on your liver function test :T

Mollypolly - good luck starting over - you can do it!

Congrats Shopaholic, isn't it great to feel so much brighter! I am so jealous of your 8.45pm bedtime too!

First day of holidays today and I'm bored stiff, got no money to go anywhere and the weather's too bad to go to the park, any ideas how to keep a 2yo and a 5yo occupied?

I think I had more of a problem than I cared to admit as this has been so hard to do, I have been craving a drink every night!:o

Where do you live? my daughter has just gone back to school after the hols today!

How about doing some baking with them, you can eat what you make in the evenings to ward of the drink!!:D

Shopaholic, this book is quite handy for a quick read to give you some quick support:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Allen-Carrs-No-More-Hangovers/dp/0572030738/ref=pd_bbs_sr_11?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1207568930&sr=8-11

But I still maintain that this is the best book I've ever read re. alcohol, a real eye opener when you can understand exactly what this ex-alcoholic says :

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/No-Big-Deal-Recovery-Addictions/dp/0955367700/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1207569017&sr=1-1

(sorry don't know how to do tidy linkys :D)

In the meantime, if you feel a craving, come on here and SCREAM :rotfl:

If you wanna pm me anytime, feel free :)
