Errr... I have drunk alcohol almost everyday.:mad: I still have only had 2 AFD's this week and I have some white wine in the fridge for later. Not doing too well at all. I know it's a cop out but I want at least 3 AFD's for next week which starts tomorrow.

How is everyone else doing? Good I hope.

afd yesterday and then today hopefully, feel the need for something at the mo, so doing the only sensible thing and going to bed.

Cant have the stuff in the house, no longer go into the wine isle at the supermarket.

Night night, am incredibly grumpy, but that seemsto be just normal at the mo, hoping it might pass x

I seem to be going through a stage of any alcohol in the house must get drunk before I go to bed :eek:

I vow to stop today cos my body feels it needs a rest. Making preparations for this afternoon/evening already. I'm having a roast so I can just shove it in the oven and leave it, I've got magazines to read, homework to do with the kids and crimbo cards for the kids to write which will take up most of the evening. I normally have a long soak in the bath on a sunday night, but I did that last night instead, so tonight can be a quick shower so I don't have to spend too much time alone locked in a room where I can drink in secret.

I'm going to Tesco in a bit to buy lots of sweet treats and soft drinks for this evening and extra milk for hot choc.

I promise myself that I am going to wake up tomorrow, un-hung-over'ed, raring to go :undecided, and ready for the day - because tonight I am going to get everything ready for tomorrow, including clothes, uniform and packed lunches

I'm not panicking that much about tonight because I feel I need the AFD, it's tomorrow night I'm worrying about :eek:

Know exactly how that works, anything in this house mysteriously finds its way to my glass - can't have the stuff in the house - dreading going awya at xmas cos grannies house is always a wash with all those kind of goodies in various cupboards etc.

Hoope you doing better later, will chumly be a muskahound tonight with you if you fancy it? See out november in style with a cup tea?

I am on an AFD tonight, hurray!:rolleyes: Haha, it's not too bad I suppose, I might order a Christmas tree and decorations online, I'm trying to decide which one now. Then I'm going to chat online, maybe watch some TV, have a nice, long hot shower and hopefully an early night.

No alcohol at all in the house so that helps.

Faye sorry I already had a glass of wine or I'd join you muskahounding. the last two nights have not been AF I'm afraid or tonight although I have to stop at one glass as there is no more in the bottle. Really really wanted another glass and thought of going to the gin but remembered that DH is away tomorrow and so have to get all the kidds out and to their various places on my own tomorrow morning. this is a nightmare at the best of times without having a sludgy head to cope with as well. Was surprised at the strength of the craving too.

Hey biscotte, its always good when you think, oh I 'd better not I have x, y and z to do tomorrow! hey well done 115k....jo how you doing? - me thinking of sitting in front of fire and working, can't believe tomorrow is a new month - also cant beleive that i could have actually had a few days (admittedly intermittent) without alchohol. This month has for me been such a good month despite the ups and the downs! Beginning to realise that I don't think I can ever have a normal relationship with alcohol, despite what I may convince myself to the contrary! - I really want to say such a big thank you for everyone for helping me along, being honest about things, its so lovely not to have to hide anything and to be able to say its ok to just be who you are on here.

I really do appreciate it very much, need to stop as will get all mushy on you all! lol

I wandered in from the pigsback thread at the end of October (when JackTyler was posting, I do hope he's alright) and had a plod through the entire thread and have loitered until now.
In the last 14 years I have had very, very few AFDs .. guessing that the overall average would be the equivalent of over 6 pints a day, every day.
Reading through all your posts was the smack in the nuts I needed to finally do what I had been thinking about for about 8 months now.
wound down the amount I was drinking from early Nov and had last drink on 15th Nov .. finished off with a triple Sambucca.
I am amazed that it has been so easy for me ... helps that OH doesn't drink much and if I don't buy it we don't have it ... but even after just 15 days I am so sure of myself and my will power.
soooooo being a smug booga I have gone for the double and kicked the fags in to touch as well today.. used the Allen Carr smoking coach on the Nintendo DS ..

so once again I thank you for all your posts that have helped me get in control of the demons
