  • She offered me counselling earlier in the year but i have had counselling in the past for something else that didn't seem to work so i said no,also because we couldn't afford to pay for the sessions afterwards.

Get your GP to refer you, you shouldn't need to pay for anything.

Take anything that is offered because at some point it will work.

Stick with us on here, loads of advice to be given :)

  • No she said to go to the person they could refer me to it was just for a couple of session and we would have to pay for any extra.
  • Seen your sig Jo - well done on yesterday being another AFD - I didn't make it but bright and breezy tonight and won't be indulging, lodger to feed early early so its a cuppa for me tonight and some more ginger nuts.

Always running......... where I live there's no charge for councelling (as far as I am aware) we have a local Alcohol awareness group that offer that service- which is free, but I might be wrong, wonder if there is one in your area? I was advised ot get in touch with them, and i dont think i have to go through my gp. They are funded by the govt I think? (my one)

Where do you living always running? You should have a service provided by your local authority if you live in the UK that can provide support.

    Well done Fay.
Its great knowing you will wake up un-hungovered isnt it.

My daughter has had a hangover all day and I felt really sorry for her...even though it was self inflicted.
I asked if she thought the night out was worth it...She said YES:eek: ...Kids!!!!
    Have a good sleep everyone

  • I hope I feel better eventually, just feel very fuggy headed (think is just the cold) but I am so lethargic - no idea why feel like have been run over by a train. (maybe it was the wagon!) Bad joke sorry. Ta MP - will be trying for a AF week. Seems so pointless to have fallen off on sat night, but new day, new me, not going to beat self up anymore.

    Thats it Fay.
    Back up on this wagon.
I felt pretty carp for about two weeks when I first gave up but believe me all the horrid feelings pass and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
    Good Luck
    Nite nite
