what kind of 12 string is it? It's somewhere on my "when I'm rich list", after an acoustic bass and a Rickenbacker 4001 bass and a Rickenbacker 6 string....

congrats on your 40th...my time will come

Hi- well its a semi acoustic takamine and I love it- now I don't gig anymore I can indulge myself and play what I like!!!!- had to put the Fender strat to bed I'm afraid, completely knackered from being so well loved, although I bought it second hand 20 yrs ago and its still going. Acoustic bass sounds pretty scary- say goodbye to your fingertips!!! As for the Rickenbacker's-well now you're just showing off!!!...brilliant guitars, on every budding axe hero's wish list I think.

Lurkio, totally agree about fenders, after having one for so long I swear by em- best action and best neck around. My dream is a Gibson Les Paul custom (with black laquer and gold plated machine heads) with 1960's humbucker pickups...one day..................

    Best of luck tonight everyone!!!!

Er...not too bad as a rhythm guitarist, not lead though, ex OH did that- just used to do sunday afternoon blues/jazz and saturday evenings old punk and rock in local pubs and clubs. Still keep my hand in by jamming with mates, and teaching a couple of my 14 yr old sons mates ("can you teach me to play Linkin Park and Sweet Child 'o Mine"-aarrgghh!!!). Trouble is theres nothing I like better than having a jam, with a few mates and beers, and I don't know why but I feel awkward and self conscious now I'm not drinking so I've been avoiding it.
