Hiya
Can't believe we've reached 100....................kinda feel we need a celebration of some sorts. :bdaycake: There we are...................this should do it!! I think there's enough to go round.................:rotfl::T:rotfl:Congratulations to everyone in getting this far together.
I hope you're all doing alright. I log onto this forum nearly every night to see what you're all up to.
I think this is probably my last post. Without sounding overly confident I want to say I think I've cracked it. I think I owe you guys my life.....................it has totally turned around. Reading the posts, following your tips and coming across the Allen Carr book has help me quit the booze. Never, ever thought I'd ever be able to say that....................I'm clutching this new found freedom fiercely to my chest, like an overprotective mother.
These last few weeks / months I've been going through such ups and downs with my bf. The relationship is finally over, alas, but through all the sadness I've not once thought about having a drink .
I think it's finally time for me to move on with my life......................I'll never forget any of you......................how you've touched my life and restored my dignity.......................wow !!.................it's been an honour and a privilege 'knowing' you.:kisses:
Take care y'all here.....................and when you hear this song on the radio ........ http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ws5A5d5vUXY ..........just remember nearly-there is thinking of you..................yes that means you as well......................and your pretty amazing grace.
Big hugs and kisses. :T

Hello to everyone
Well I've been pondering for some time about my drinking and have decided that I do have a 'problem'. My one bottle of wine has now gone to almost 2 bottles a session. My weekend drinking has turned into 4+ times a week. On average I go to work at least twice a week with a hangover. I can't remember anything past the 3rd large glass of wine and am often surprised or embarrassed by comments from my family of things I have said. I have put on 2 stone in weight and often go to work with red eyes.
I seem to be able to stay off the 'sauce' for weeks at a time but as soon as I have one glass I get panicky wanting my next one.
I'm trying to decide if I would be able to educate myself to drink in motivation or give up altogether.
Is anyone else here in a similar position?
Any help advice would be greatly appreciated.
