    Good Morning all

Up nice and early this morning as OH is doing a boot fair with eldest DD and I am off soon with youngest to mooch around.

    I had a beer last night ;).

Only the one and considering my aim was to cut down I am more than happy with that. I used to have up to 10 cans a night so I have reduced it by 90%. If I can carry on like this then I will be chuffed.

Hope you all have a great day and will catch up soon. Hope your beds are not full of Donout dust and ginger nut crumbs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Molly, wow you are doing great :T well done for resisting last night, it's like BHB doing his mowing last week, I think the automatic reaction is 'lets have a nice cold drink to reward ourselves' but as we always used to reach for the beer/wine/whatever it comes naturally to us. Also it's funny how we say we want to 'reward' ourselves with a drink, well if any of you could've seen me yesterday when I woke up with a hangover, I dread to think what I'd do to myself if I wanted to punish myself :rotfl:

YM, you were up ridiculously early, stop that, it's a Sunday!! Congrats on capping it to 1 drink, I hope you can keep it up. Are you planning just to drink 1 or 2 a the weekends or when you're not working? Have a lovely day at the boot sale, hope the weather stays good.

AB, good to hear you cutting down too, weather is sunny although doubt it's gonna last, I'm in Essex :)

Its book group next mon so will try nowt till then! Well done YM!! Its all about moderation if you can and stopping if you cant! Had a good chat with my mum yesterday and laughed at my own stupidity!! As she said its the first drink that gets you so maybe for some best not to have any. Hugs all hope its a good un!

Yes AB, I'm an Essex girl

ISOM, glad to hear you're feeling better :) It's the same as smoking too and as the late great Allen Carr said, if you knew you were going to have a problem stopping/cutting down would have have lit/drunk the first one?
