Yeah I'm pretty much recovered now. It's a little like giving birth, the minute the child pops out you're like 'my god I'm never doing that again!' then a little way down the line you forget all that!

I shall pop to Tesco/Sainsburys/wherever in a little bit and buy some treats for later. Plus I gotta beat OH at Buzz general knowledge game on the PS2 which he bought me during the week so can't be !!!!!! for that!

Oh and just for the record, I definately don't wanna look like I did this morning ever again!

    Afternoon all,

Sorry to hear you've had a blip Jo. It was enought to drive anyone to it I should think.

I think we should have a new rule ..... If you have ONE blip you ignore it, if you have two blips on two consecutive days you have to buy us all a round. ;)

I HAVE BEEN TO THE PUB

My boys came round and said come on we are off to the pub. I had little choice - they are both 6' 4" and I'm only 5' 10" ! Its the eldest ones wedding in a couple of months and I was really dreading going to the wedding becuase of the drink.
They both had a couple of pints today and I just had an orange juice and lemonade AND NO CRAVING WHATSOEVER TODAY!!!! :D:D
They were really great about me not drinking, took the mickey a bit but in a light hearted way.I really enjoyed it and really didn't feel the need for a drink today so am really pleased with myself. I am now looking forward to the wedding, though not to seeing the ex wife

Why did the image of an ageing hippo crossed with a fish come into my mind then :D

Adam Ant? ...... Suzi Quatro :smileyhea

    Best Wishes

OMG BHB you're amazing! Well done watching your boys drink and you drinking an OJ :T :T :T

This is good for you, good practice for the wedding rather than panicking right up to the occasion, at least you now know it's possible and you can still enjoy yourself :)

Right so I'd better not cave in again tonight, not sure I can afford a round of OJs for everyone ;)
