I have seen the morphy richards one in sainsburys. Not sure of the price though, I think it was about £29Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

I think this is the same one availble from Robert Dyas for £19.00. Comes to 24.95 with delivery, but I used a 10% code to get it for 22.95 (and 7% Quidco making it £21.34 ish) not quite s good but OK if you cant get to TJ Hughes

I have the Asda OMM one and it only lasted me 4 months, it was fine for about the first 10 uses, then stuff started sticking to the sides, whether it was on slow or fast setting, whether I used more liquid, whether or not I stirred it...
At the end I was having to soak it 3 times to even get the stuff off the side, so this last time I just threw it on the bin, after I had been soaking it for days, trying to wash it and then resoaking.
Gonna buy the morphy richards tonight and wish I had got it in the first place!0 -
I'm on the look out for a cheap yet reliable slow cooker as I've seen sooooo many great recipes on here. You've totally coverted me.
Cooking for family of 4 (two small boys but getting bigger and already eating me out of house and home!) I would like to be more organised and do more batch cooking.
Which makes do you have and would you recommend them again?0 -
I would make sure that you buy one with a low, high and mid setting.
I have this one http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4226433/Trail/searchtext%3ESLOW+COOKERS.htm
I put frozen meat in it with all the other bits and bobs to make a meal and place it on the auto setting for about 9 hours.
Result perfect meal0
