Hey there, thought I'd pop by and say hello and was confused by the change of name - nice choice though :)

Sorry to hear you've been having a hard time, very bad luck about the toilets as well. Hope you get some good news on the car.

 Fab news Wendy. Lets hope things are on the up for you.
  • Hope so GR was a bad week last week, everywhere we turned things went wrong,

Rough budget says I can pay of £1500 off the loan keeping just under the £766 needed for holiday. Other than the Cavalier MOT which should be all thats needed at the end of July thats preety much all the big annual spends covered. The haircuts, birthdays etc can be dealt with using the monthly excess. £500 saved for christmas so dont need to worry about that.

Just need to update/check monthly budget now to ensure I have the excess and I can cover an overpayment on the loan each month. So far its the extra soends on Me , OH and Kids that are eating into any excess. Not too bad but still needs controlling. GC challenge still ok.

Also will get £56 back from car insurance I wasnt expecting.

That's the second bit of good news for you this week, selling the car and the money back off the insurance. However much you budget the extras seem to come from nowhere. DD just told me she needs wellies over the weekend as she's going to an outdoor pursuit centre on Monday and her wellies are too small!!!!!

Sometimes its difficult to control these unexpected expenses.

Hope today is a good one for you.
