Thanks ISOM, Yes must admit part of me thinks what do we "need" which translates what do we want.
Still have the problem of the health insurance to sort out and I need new glasses and my teeth are playing up so likley some expense there. My plan when I can get around to it (forgot today??) is to ring the insurance company and ask if they have paid the insurnace premiums as they say they have even though I havent paid is the policy still vailid if I pay?
£280 ish due to them but I can claim £100 glasses and £200 my dentist bills and £100 each for kids who are due check ups. Wont be near £100 for them but it is £6-8 a check up. Might clear the problems up in one. Still an expence but less then if I do end up liable for the £280.
Thinking of using some of the savings for this rather than not reduce the £1500 I want to pay off the loan and use excess from each months wages to save for holiday. That way I have an incentive to save rather than spend/waste the excess.
Quiet day today baked chocolate bread, lemon drixxle cake and hobnobs then fell asleep! Nowt else done so need to be a bit more active tomorrow.
