Ive got £39 in Money back madness just waiting for the last £12.50 to be paid so hopefully will be paid to me soon. Opened a NW credit card to get £15 worth of points from Pigsback becasue balance back to nil when I redeemed my points for Halfords vouchers. But yes making extra money is tougher than before.

The NW card is 0 % balance transfer with 3% fee for 13 months which is great but I dont have an overdraft or credit card to pay off so most likely go to waste.

The loan is front loaded but I was sure I would benefit if paying early. I can repay bits at any time but the interest is the same unless I clear it altogether. Should I just give in a wait the 6 years? I guess the savings will look good if we dont blow them.

    Hi Wendy,
If I got a card with a 0% balance transfer for so many months could I transfer my overdraft on to it, might be a way for me to get motivated to get it down especially if I won't be paying interest on it.
Thought you may know because of your above post.
    Thank you...:D

I signed up for a few bingo thingy's, just waiting for one of them to pay out. I've exhausted everything. Been pricing my car insurance today. It's due to renewal in 4 weeks time so I been trying to get some deals together. Think I'm going to go with the post office through quidco of course and get £27 cashback from Quidco and £50 cashback from Post Office. Will have to count that into another months challenge though as I only count what I've actually got, not what's waiting to be paid :(

Cant remember now thinking about it Im fairly sure you can but if not get one to to monthly spends so the OD disappears and then transfer. If you get a 0% for purchases on the first it shouldnt cost anything other than the balance transfer fee to the final card if that makes sense.

Im spending a lot on the cars at the moment so trying to keep track. So far each time I add it up I about right.

£865 bills due before 25th (payday)
    £1363 cc due next month
£180 car tax also due end may
£300 car repairs due by end month
    £766 holiday budget
    £3474

Income and monies in bank due by end of month £3264

    3474-3264-210 (expenses so far) = 0

Profit left will be anything made from the car less anything spent up to payday.

Very tight and confusing but thats most of my yearly spends covered and the rest I can save each month from any excess.

Got loads to do include shop today which may cost more because OH cooking for the next few days (shouldnt really be cooking so have to ensure easy cook food available). I away until friday evening so still to pack, change cars, sort car for sale paperwork out for when Im away (ad due to appear thurs), shop and lots of work:eek: .

The hire car goes back today so cleaned that yesterday cant believe the mess one person (me!) can make in two months. New car arrives which will be cheaper monthly when my tax code is put back to normal. Hopefully will have time for a quick spin before I go.

Off to get dressed , wake OH and start on my list.

Caught up! Great that the trip was positive. Why is oh giving you grief? At the end of the day you need to do stuff like that dont you ? & as the main bread winner...oo what new car did you get? Lucky you!! Re the loans if they are front loaded I concluded that the only oe to benefit if I paid early was the bank! No reduction for me but the psych boost would be good just to have them gone although effectively the same money could be earning interest in your account IYKWIM?! I may try & pay one early just for light relief on premiums by no way northern rock getting any benefit from me! What are you doing to sell car? Is it worth using auto trader or sommat? Taxi put hers on a bit cheaper and got a bidding war from the sound of it - athough I think it was a people carrier..? Hang in there. We can only do or best at the end of the day!

Its a people carrier a v reg Zafira selling for £2500. Not many about so expected a bit more interest. Dont really want to get rid but the new car is a Zafira as well! It such a good price for what you get. It should cost me just £40 a month compared to the £45 a month in tax I have been paying for a 1.4 golf and focus hire car.

I didnt realise the news paper ad went online as well and that part shows but not all the details or the pic. Might try auto trader if no luck with paper its in for three weeks.

OH giving me grief about leaving him at short notice for 3 days with the kids. Its too hard apparently. I can see his point but why the constant moaning? I just cant deal with it. One minute hes ok the next not. Away in France Wed/Thurs so another reason to moan.

Sorry to sound so down just a bit fed up at the mo so I guess thats two of us not feeling 100% :D .
