Yes all money paid from me. So no worry about upsetting relatives. Hobnobs are baked and cooling they smell scrummy I dont think it will be long before the fist one, two... are gone!
Dont want DD2 to have credit yet we prefer just to be able to call her when she is at the park. She far too young at 7. Still think she is too young for a phone. DD1 is after credit but not given it her yet. It will be her own money and when its gone its gone. Shes having fun bluetoothing things with her friends at the mo nice and cheap. Thats why they wanted new phones to bluetooth stuff and play music.
If I can pay 1.2k from girls, get 1.5k from car after expences and pay 300 instead of 225 a month to loan we will be debt free in 3.5 years!!!!:j0 -
Hopefully the mobile phone will be a novelty. My DD and DS both have phones, my son very rarely has his with him and we spend more time looking for DD's phone than she does actually using it.
I'm desperate to try the hobnobs but can't see me getting round to doing them again. I'd need to get the car out of the garage, drive to the local supermarked and get some on the ingredients.
Will try and pop into supermarket on way home from work next week and do them then.
Am off to mums for lunch today, lovely lamb dinner and strawberry meringue and fresh cream for pudding. Can hardly wait.0 -
Mmmm Mums dinner:j0

Forgot to put that I have put three phones up for trade with envirofone should get £31. FIL has just rung with spare books to give to OH so more Amazon and/or car boot stock.
Absolutely no luck with ebay. Two items ending in just under 4 hours and no interest. Another set to finish in 2 days also no interest.:j0 -
Mow lawn
Move tv upstairs with OH
Sort out front "garden" tiny but looks dreadful
Bake hot cross buns
Red items to be added onto tommorows list along with some work and work out expenses I can claim back.
Have sold some clothes on ebay for a whole 99p  not really worth it even if you add 80p for spare postage. Petrol will probably wipe that out. Got to honour they sale so all packed and ready to go.
Got a nice big box of hard back books to car boot. At £1 each may get around £20.
Catch you all tomorrow night night:j0 -

Right yesterday I got around to going on the other computer to do an excel spreadsheet. This will help me monitor progress a bit easier I hope. Really want excel on here so I can download eagerlearner's one but trying to avoid the cost. Worked out I have £745 left after income/outgoings since Feb :j
Bad news I succomed to bank holiday shoppingand afte four years of a carp lawnmower spent £100 on a nice bosch one. Mowed the lawn and it looks much better not great but still very happy and much muich easier. Also spent £18 on stuff to mke the front garden look better. £38 on car but got £17 of that back today.
Got the tax credit annual review/declaration through but cant complete it until get info from work. Not happy I really want to get the figures correct:mad: .
Still no sign of the kids cheques in the bank. Guess it will be a week before they clear and I can put to the loan.
No sale on ebay for my nusery curtains so back in the car boot pile. Someone must want them someday! Amazon also dead at the mo.
Enjoying the weather isnt it lovely outside? The kids keep asking when the pool is going up. Last yar we put it up in May and you know what happened next.:j0 -
Cheques always take ages to come when your waiting for them. I sent my Halifax cheque off on Friday to the A&L and it'sstill not registered on my account yet.
Hopefully yours will be in the bank in the next few days and you can get it paid off the loan.0 -
Quiet day at work for most. Write up days Thrs and Fri so need to stay off here! Spent 80p on Chocolate but other than that a no spend day. Chqs are in the bank just need to clear now.
OH has spent the day Tcutting the Cavalier and fiting new gaters (the leather bit of the gear stick and hand brake) They are new just £15 but need a bit from scrap yeard for the hand brake now so looks like a trip tomorrow.:j0 -
Just saying Hi Wendy. I bet you must be feeling really positive to be going in the right direction. You're doing so well and staying motivated. Like GR says it can be very hard sometimes but in the end it's so worth it.
