Hello all !
What started out a lovely day with some sunshine has now turned grey and chilly -though OH insists its quite warm so maybe its my 'old blood'............lol
Spent the morning sorting out and wrapping stuff for youngest son (in mid 30's but loves little surprises).I've so much stuff stored in the spare room for folks' pressies and though sons birthdays not till April I thought I'd better get it done before it all gets buried under the other stuff............lol Have boxed up some more mementos of my Dads for him as well. He'll be well pleased.
OH gone to the pub for his normal Sunday pint or several...........kids are both out so it's just me and the radio..............bliss!
Need to have another look at Mums day card I'm making for my Mum.......think it needs a bit extra 'something'..............not sure what though. Don't want to spoil it. She's still got last years on her sideboard..........lol
Have a good day all of you and hugs (((((((((((((:o )))))))))))) to those who need themMary

Hi everyone!
Sorry to hear some people are going through tough times at the moment, my thoughts are with you. Wishing the poorly ones well asap too.
I'm still having a fab time in Florida and it was very sunny yesterday. Have managed to cook several meals infact we've only had a few meals out. Not sure my weight will have decreased this week, nervous about returning to my fatclub but it is a holiday after all!
I think I'm gonna go for an early morning (just after 8 am here) wander along the beach, it's been raining so not sure how the day will be. Got stuff in the tumble dryer and more washing to put on (a bit like being at home, except there's 2 extra people to look after!) must decide what to cook for today!
Wishing you all a great last day of half term

Afternoon all
Well it looks like DS has stopped being sick, He has been asleep for an hour and a half. OH is also fast asleep. He'll regret it later.
Thought I would use the time constructively, so have sorted out my car insurance renewal, £98 fully comp with the Post Office. Am so pleased, have even managed to pay it all up front, something which I have never been able to do :j I can't believe this site is 5 years old, i really wish i had found it 5 years ago when things were so dire. I am so grateful for all the help I have recieved.
Off to check on DS and do some knitting, am starting to fade a bit.

Afternoon all,
(((((((redruby)))))))))) - depression is hard on everyone, not just the one suffering from it.
Scuzz - fingers crossed for the job.
Just had lunch of HM bread - remembered to put the timer on the BM last night before bed - with cheese, ham and HM pickles. Got back from church about 12.15 and dh and the kids broke up an old sofa and are currently taking it to the dump. It was so big we couldn't get it down the stairs.
Going to play some golf at 3pm - ds2 will walk round with us rather than playing as Sunday pm can be quite busy - ds1 and I will probably have a comp as we have similar handicaps - although he's lower than me ATM:mad:
Ds1 is also cooking tea tonight - free range turkey curry served in big Yorkies - yum! I shall enjoy a glass of vino tonight as I was on taxi duty last night - new youth clubs at church - 6pm -7.30 for ds2 and 8-10pm for ds1. However, they really enjoyed them - ds1 was shattered as he'd played football, dodgeball, volleyball and basketball:D
Have some school shirts in the WM at the moment on a hot wash - I took them out after a normal 40C wash and they were still mud encrusted - don't you just love boys!
Have a good day everyone.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Afternoon all  :wave:Mrs Mix - thanks for the wave hope its not a goodbye one  Redruby - sorry to hear about your OH hope you manage to sort it all soonSmokybabe - massive hugs hoping no news is good newsHaribo - where are you???? MIA ??Just cryed my way through a pile of ironing and the Emmerdale omnibus - how sad was that :sad:Still got another hour at least on the ironing cant believe how many clothes I have accummulated in the said pile Still not able to access mse through normal channels so having to "hide" through a proxy - very annoying as I cant thank or use normal formatting. After ironing i need to do a quick swish downstairs (read shove stuff in cupboards) as have a mate coming for Dancing on Ice and a curry. Slap me with a damp microfibre cloth if you feel the need as the curry is a bought in Tikka Masala from costco but my excuse is that its been sitting in the freezer for ages and I need to eat it at somepoint
it is gorgeous too !! My angelic halo of OS has not slipped entirely though as I am serving with some home made Lentil Daal. Right that ironing pile has point blank refused to do itself so I need to go and have a few words.Hugs to allNels xxxxxxxxxx

A quick read at speed to catch up since this morning! Not even started the essay yet... am too good at procrastinating...!!
However 3rd lot of washing going in the machine - cleaned out the powder/conditioner drawer ... urgh!!! Using vinegar as my conditioner from today as well!! Had a go with the breadmaker & have just taken 12 herby/granary rolls out of the ovenFish poached in milk, then used that to make white sauce - will assemble pie later as going for a walk around the harbour with my mate now - will come back refreshed to get textbooks out (yeah, right!!!)
Sorted out all household paperwork, phoned sky to get password for my new BB email (so £10 a month saved changing from Tiscali), cancelled the movies & promptly saved another £17. Worked out in past couple of months, including drop in interest rate on mortgage payment I should now be £57 a month better off without even noticing (that will go on mortgage overpayments). Woo-hoo!! Feel like I have had a really productive day
Hugs to those that need them - will come back & catch up properly later.Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)0 -
Afternoon all
Big hugs to those in need, I haven't read all the thread yet as my Moniter stopped working yesterday, I knew there was no way we could afford a new one for quite a while, but hubby went to help a friend who was moving & he had a monitor he was throwing away, he gave it to hubby & this morning we went to Maplins to buy a power supply for it & now we are back online, woo hoo. The power supply cost £13.99 a lot less than a monitor. I had a scrummage in my penny jar & found over £14 in there, I don't think the man at Maplins was impressed, but he accepted it, lol.
Katy came back yesterday as she missed the train on Friday so we had an extra days peace.
I've uploaded a few pics on my blog of the small blanket I've finished & loose squares that I'm still working on.
Hugs Hester

Hi everybody :hello:
Welcome to mumoftwins and Squiggly Diddly :hello:
Hugs smokybabe and redruby :grouphug:
Am knackered todayProbably something to do with the fact that I was posting on here at 01:19 this morning and had to get up in time for church
Had a lovely time with Mum yesterday - she enjoyed her birthday. The meal i treated her to wasn't cheap, but the good news was I was pretty much exactly on budget (28p over
)
Need to pop out later, pick up some basics from Tesco and get rid of my recyclables. Will probably cook a batch of something later - risotto, or maybe macaroni cheese - so as to make sure I keep a good variety of meals in the freezer.
Am currently lounging on my sofa, from which I've got a perfect view of the state of my windows  so while at Tesco I must buy a squeegee and sort them out.
Must write that review later too - I didn't get around to it yesterday!
Love Rzl xx :wave:Operation Get in Shape
