Well I'm still determined to do something, camping appears to be the way to go at the mo. I'm collecting tesco points like mad so I can convert into days out DFW style of course.:D
It would just be really nice to have something to look forward to, thats half the fun I think. Will keep you posted if anything exciting or bargainiscious occurs.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

We're going on a kind of DFW holiday next week, as it's been paid for through mystery shopping, eBaying, selling on Amazon, Quidco etc. We're renting an apartment cheaply through someone I found on the free ads at work, got dirt cheap flights from local airport cos we're flying mid week. We're self catering so will just go to local supermarket and get lots of food and wine on the first, then just get the occasional coffee out rather than dinner.
I also think camping is a great option as you end up in some gorgeous locations for a great price- particularly if you have your own kit.
Also check out Travelodge cheapy rooms- they sometimes go as low as £9 a night so it might be an option to include a night at one of these with a couple of days out?
