There are loads of free things to do in Manchester. Last year, we spent a day hopping on and off the free buses that run all round the city centre :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

We sacrifice holidays because we choose to have animals hun - anywhere we go would have to be dog friendy
I just bought a 28 pack of Walkers today for packed lunches for the kids, so I'm off to have a look
ditto us and the dog thing thats why we went to this place in cornwall and there are 2 beaches local that are dog friendly all year.
weymouth beach has 1 end that is dog friendly all year too.
there is also a website that specialise in dog friendly cottage holidays.
shout if u need any info:D0 -
last year we did the sun holiday, at Caister and it was good (i hadn't been expecting much). If you're near Yarmouth, then a good day out is Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, doubt you can do it on Tesco's vouchers but it's quite cheep and if you pick up a leaflet first then you usually get money off vouchers.
This year we have a proper holiday - Italy for 8 days but that's only because it's our honeymoon.0 -

It looks lovely, but a bit out of our budget this year at almost £9 per adult and £7 per child (only one of our three is young enough to be free).
Will keep my eyes open for vouchers though - if we can find a bogof, then it might be do-able.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -
Hi
I've managed to save enough clubcard vouchers for a week at Haven in summer hols, yay!
Was hoping to go to France but can't all fit in car as we have a new arrival, babyToby!! So Baby Toby plus his mum n dad (DD2 and boyf) are gonna have to go by train or coach.
May even have enough vouchers to get days out passes if there's any nearby.
if you're looking for cheap days out I am member of English Heritage and it's only around £40 (or you can pay with clubcard vouchers) for the year. There's often events on at their sites, War re-enactments, Jousting, falconry, etc worth it if there's sites near to where you live. There's loads near to me but I know some parts of country don't have so many. My DS2 loves it (but he is only 9, lol)Official DFW nerd - 282 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts'

Been on the Sun Holidays loads over the years, get your kids to enter the talent comps. Mine love all that and one of them usually won which means you get a free holiday to return for finals week in the autumn. I think I'll get DD3 practising for this year!Official DFW nerd - 282 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts'
