I don't think thats fair at all. Where has the poster said "stuff any other poor sod that they mow down" or anything like it?

Calling someone a chav by reason of the car they drive is offensive and doesn't take the debate any further forward. Suggest you tone down your comments or post elsewhere.

I think you need to read a post properly before casting your biased judgement.

Obviously the 4x4 brigade don't like any critical comment...awwww shame.

The old ones are still the old ones:D .

For what its worth I think most people who drive 4x4s (in the sense of large, cumbersome vehicles singularly unsuited to the use to which they are put) are fashion lead idiots but I believe they have the right to expose their idiocy to all.

And that's not offensive? With respect, you are not much of a comedian.

I don't have a 4x4 and if YOU looked at the postings, you would see that I actually said I don't like them.

So to say that my opinion is biased is gibberish.

...and I did not say that 4x4 drivers are Chavs, but that is what you accused me of saying.

I never said I was a comedian, I just thought that it was funny, but perhaps that is because I have a sense of humour.;) :D

Don't take it all so seriously, nothing any of us says on here is going to change anything.

So did I, in 1972 when I first heard it. Of course it was police cars then. Then in 1980 it was Porsches. etc. etc. etc.

Sorry I thought you said "[4x4 drivers] will still be seen by the majority of other road users as the Chavs of the road"

True, it just seemed to fit the bill here on this thread, the last time I heard it, it was Range Rovers, that was about 10 years ago, so nothing much changes..;) ;)
