For what its worth I think most people who drive 4x4s (in the sense of large, cumbersome vehicles singularly unsuited to the use to which they are put) are fashion lead idiots but I believe they have the right to expose their idiocy to all.

I don't have a 4x4 and if YOU looked at the postings, you would see that I actually said I don't like them.

...and I did not say that 4x4 drivers are Chavs, but that is what you accused me of saying.

I never said I was a comedian, I just thought that it was funny, but perhaps that is because I have a sense of humour.;)

So did I, in 1972 when I first heard it. Of course it was police cars then. Then in 1980 it was Porsches. etc. etc. etc.

True, it just seemed to fit the bill here on this thread, the last time I heard it, it was Range Rovers, that was about 10 years ago, so nothing much changes..;)
