Mine had lumps, which we thought were malignant but turned out benign (sp) then he lost a toe nail and got an infection. Think he might still need to have his toe amputated!
Yeah well I'm 27 aswell!

Chance has lymphomas (cancer of the lymph glands in his neck). He's on chemo and responding really well, but they've told me it's not a cure, and it will get him eventually.
Glad your poochie in on the mend.
Are you really 27? Have you been around a bit?:rotfl:0 -

Awww poor little sod. Spoil him rotten while you can.

Earning or saving?!?!
Well in that case, you might get 3.5x your salary then!
I'd still advise you to stay at home and live with your parents until your debt is paid off and you've saved a fair amount of money. Don't forget the other costs of living on your own:
gas £50/month
elec £30/month
council tax £90/month
food £150/month
internet, tv license, water bill, phone line, insurance....
My parents live in the middle of nowhere where there's very few jobs in my line of work going, so I had to move where the work was, but I certainly would have lived with them for a bit after uni to save up money if I had the chance!!!
Sorry pink shoes, I missed this post.
Currently earning an extra £1,000 a month.
Staying with the parents really isn't a viable option anymore for me. They are great and there is always a room for me here. But I need to do it for my own sanity and peace of mind and to move on with my life.
Costs of living will be minimal for me. I've become a tight @rse in the last 2 and half years so I've no worries about bills or things.
I'm thinking maybe, just maybe, renting might be the best option. Simply because I don't think I'll be able to borrow enough to buy something reasonable. :undecided0 -
If it takes about 2 mins to read posts then reply, you've lost 721 hours of your spare time!
Heheh I was thinking about this the other day. I work on an hourly rate so its scandalous really the amount of time I spend round here - I'm probably actually LOSING money rather then moneysaving.
I ought to start charging some folk round here for my PhireWisdom....
OP, find a nice place to rent. Before you know it, you'll be bringing Mrs SouthernScouser back to your batchelor pad and dreaming about the house you may buy together one day.0 -
