  • That Panasonic one is the one I have too (the one Which? magazine said was the best of the cheaper ones), I paid £30 so £20 is a great price:

Will report back on what it's like when I do finally use it!! :)
I thought batteries didn't like cold temperatures though? I noticed my camera and headtorch can play up when used in below zero temps (Eg when hiking)

I've just ordered the Ben and Jerry's ice cream book, 33p plus £2.75 post. I had been eyeing it up in Borders, but decided to wait.
Now that I have read that I NEED one, my sons a Ben and Jerry's addict, costs me a fortune.

Is there a recipe for phish food and fossil fuel? Those are his 2 favourites. I'd also be interested where you got the book please.
One day I might be more organised...........

I think that is why they use Lithium batteries in it.

I got it as a wedding gift last year, think it cost them £35!!

I though that was overpriced for what it does but £20 is a good buy in my opinion.

There's not much to review, it does a simple task well. The batteries that came with it lasted me six months and it was used regularly.

Is there a recipe for phish food

Vanilla ice cream .... add mini marshmallows, some caramel and some fudge chunks.
    and fossil fuel?

Vanilla ice cream ..... add chocolate cookie dough pieces, chocolate shaped dinosaurs (just put lumps of chocolate in!!!:rotfl: ) and a chocolate fudge sauce, swirled in at the end.

    Sorry .... I don't have the book :rotfl: :o

Yep I have an ice cream maker and last year I upgraded from one with freezer bowl to one with a built in freezer unit and it was one of the best buys I have made as I never buy expensive additive filled shop ice creams any more and best of all I dont have to give up valuable space in the freezer for the bowl any more as its just a case of pouring the ice cream mix in and switching it on

what machine do you have Lesley?
  • I have bought the £15.99 one thought it would be a cheap gift instead of easter eggs for the boys. (They always get so many off everyone else)
