A Pyrex bowl for mixing and a flat Pyrex dish for freezing works for me.

This is what i do now i do not have one. Its good, and better than not icecream making, but the macines really are excellent producing better icecream with less work required, no geting out stirring while the stuff freezes.

    A good point well made.

For me, living in a flat, so limited storage, and retired, so "money poor but time rich", it works for me.

I also make my own bread (one bowl, loaf tin or baking tray for rolls, no breadmaker).

The little bit of time and effort is all part of the fun.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
