Hi everyone,
Kent Trading Standards contacted me this morning, and they have paid this guy a visit last week. He has told them he has serious cash flow problems and that he is doing everything he can to give everyone thier refunds who have requested them but this will take time to sort out.
They asked if i could be a little patient whilst he tries to sort out this predicament, but she wouldn't give me any guarantee's that i would definitely get a refund.
So i can only wait and hope that things pick up then i can get my money back.
Hope this gives you others renewed hope of a resolution.
If i hear any more then i will post here.

Well I have reached the point now where I can do no more and have resigned myself to the fact I shall never get my money back. The only option left to my is small claims court although even this doesn't guarantee that I will get my money back. So although it goes against ALL my principles I am admitting defeat and treating it as an expensive lesson! The final email that I received from this con-artist was quite astonishing - I quote:
"The choice is yours This mess was created by customers who can't see past what's in front of there nose and just want what's there and don't care about consequences. I did not create this mess people like you did and if you want any chance of getting your money back you better start working with me not against me."
It makes me SO angry that this guy is still trading - check out his ebay site as well! My only hope is that people considering purchasing from this company in the future read this thread before pressing that 'Confirm Order' button.0 -
I recieved my console that i paid for 4 weeks ago today. I got an email from Andrew saying that the console was going to be dispatched on weds and true to his word received it the following day. It seems to me that the guy is trying to rectify things and although his communication skills are somewhat questionable hopfully he will honour all his sales or give full refunds. i hope that Andrew does sort out everone else i emailed him a link to this site so maybe he can keep everyone informed in what is going on. the worst thing was the not knowing. Good luck to everyone involved.0

I bought Guitar Hero 3 plus guitar for £54.06, on the 31st of March, I waiting a full 9 days to get the guitar, but it was the wrong version it was PS3 I ordered the Xbox360 version.
I sent it back and Andrew decided that once received he will send me the correct version, WORST MISTAKE I COULD HAVE MADE!
I should have sold the PS3 version and bought the XBOX version again.
Now on the 28th of April, 29 days since my orginal order I am out of pocket, all I have to show for it is 6 emails from his company and 11 emails that I have sent to him.
After reading this thread, the post with a link to his mobile number is interesting, IT IS HIS NUMBER I GOT TO SPEAK TO THE GHOST! although he doesnt email back he will pick up this number BUT BE WARNED you have to speak about 500 words a second to get your point accross as he will hang up as soon as he finds out your a customer (hes good like that).
If anyone can help in any way i'd very much appriciate it!

Hi All,
It's 16:10 on the 28th April & i have just got off the phone with Kent Trading Standards & they have told me that i have virtually no chance of getting my £86.50 back as he is now on the verge of going bust. He has no sales coming in so he cannot give refunds.
To say i am gutted is an understatement, but we all know that in 2 weeks he will up & trading again somewhere else, using someone elses name. Whilst we have lost our hard earned money.
Trading Standards said i could go down the small claims track but they think it will be throwing money away as there will very little chance of getting anything off him.
They did tell me that they will watch his activity and will let me know if there is any movement from him to setup elsewhere.
Please pass onto everyone you know DO NOT BUY OFF HIS COMPANY. I have resigned myself to losing my money but i don't want anyone else to loose theirs for my benefit.
DOUSE YOU LOUSE YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

Hi Grayzieuk, aren't trading standards supposed to protect consumers? Why are his websites still online, still seamingly open for business, it's that Trading Standards job to shut him down to stop more people falling into this trap.
Also why do they say small claims is throwing money away? I guess we would have to get to a court and waste a day etc but is that what they mean? It surely can't cost money to take this company to court?
If this really is as bad as that then Trading Standards are useless?! At least BBC Watchdog would put it on the telly. Where's my consumer rights now? Do I have to have a credit card to get some security?0 -

I think they mean you'll be throwing more money away without a practical chance of ever seeing it again. £30 odd may not be that much but it's still a lot in comparison to claiming back £86 in the first place. You don't automatically get what you claim by taking them to court even if you win. If the guy does declare bankruptcy etc then even winning in small claims doesn't mean you'll ever actually get that money, on top of the money you've put in in making a claim."She is quite the oddball.
