There is still one unanswered question here that I hope someone can help with....
Can I top up a CC+ card at the service desk using my credit card or is it cash only?
Thanks

Do you mean a credit card or a debit card? I'm not sure if you can with either, but surely you don't want to pay the cash advance fee to top up with a credit card?0

It's cash only. I use the cash machine outside the store to get some cash out and then go to the customer service desk and top up my CC+.0 -
i was told at my local tesco (burseldon, southampton) that they couldnt top up my cc+ and that i either had to do it online or on phone0

Apologies for the silly question. I current have this green plus card and put money into it each month. But I use my AMEX c/card to pay for grocery at Tesco, and just swipe the plus card for points. I just withdraw the money I put into this account via ATM. Do I still get double points or just normal single points?0

Unfortunately you only get the double points when you pay with your Club Card Plus. The extra points show up on the bottom of your reecipts usually a couple days later as TFP Bonus Points.I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has had to overcome while trying to succeed. Just to reassure you, fs - it's exactly as essenchill and barmonkey say.
I have the basic £1 monthly DD and then bank w/d money at CS as I go in, or before hitting the pumps.

shining hero - something similar happened to me at the start. I carefully recounted the facts in a strong, courteous letter to HO and received all my spending credited in CC+ points, along with an extra 2000 points.
This is less than a year ago. In my letter to HO I highlighted every Tesco txn and the relevant amount.
I had particualrly queried at check-out why would anyone have the card UNLESS to use it for paying and thus gaining the doubled points and had been reassured by check-out girl saying, 'they know it's your card so you get them anyway'.
I now know this is incorrect and all has been trouble-free since.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Well according to Essenchill (thanks for the response) I can't. But I would most certainly have liked to earn flying points on my credit card at the same time as earning double CC points at Tesco! Note - I always pay off the credit card in full.
