From the ClubCard+ Leaflet (which you should have been sent with your card/account welcome pack):

Earning Clubcard Points

If you pay with Clubcard Plus, you'll earn 2 points for every £1 spent, 1 point from Clubcard and 1 point from Clubcard Plus....

....Important: The Clubcard Plus point per £1 spent will not show on your till receipt or account points total until approximately four days after your shop....

If you swipe your Clubcard Plus card and then pay by another method, you'll earn normal Clubcard Points, i.e. 1 point for every £1 spent.

Double Clubcard points on petrol at the moment at Tesco - so if we use the Clubcard Plus, do we get triple points or does it not count...? Anyone??

How long does it take roughly to get the CC+? I sent off my application about 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing. They've not sent back my bank statement and bill or cashed the £1 cheque. Is it too early to chase them? Or do I assume it's all going through, or, worst of all, they've not received my application

I was told that you get the double points and then the extra Personal Finance points on top. Not sure if that works out to triple points though.

I'd say after two weeks it'd be worth chasing it up, I think there is a freephone number on the back of the Clubcard, though you might need to ring Tesco Personal Finance.... Do you have any information they sent with the application with a contact number on it? I'd definitely give them a ring, then your card might arrive the next day!! (Sods law!!)

I called and they said that it can take anything up to 28 days for an account to be opened! I'm getting impatient! I want to start getting double points already!! They said to call again mid-week if I've still not heard anything. Fingers crossed it's all going through!

I got one a few weeks ago, seems great so far! One thing I did notice, which I'm sure wasn't in the sign-up leaflet, is that you apparently can't use your clubcard+ for payment at Tesco Express stores, and I live right near one so am a bit gutted. I'm going to try uysing it anyway to see if it works anyway - like how you can use it on the Tesco website even though it doesn't explicitly say you can when you enter the card detailss

Which also maybe means it will go through at Tesco Express too... I didn't realise they couldn't be used there either

i use mine in a tesco express and its fine

I was told you can use them in any tesco, you just cant use them at the self service tills as they are not chip and pin cards.
