Brillo! They seem to be the most flexible about making replicas, so if I find something I like, I know they'll be a safe bet. Thanks!0 -
Yes I found it and had a look at the demitrios bridal site where there were additional photos too.The dress is strapless with the lace bolero separate so not what I thought it was after all.I am really top heavy so cannot wear a bodice style top,I have tried them so I know I really need something with shoulders and I like long lace sleeves too.Still looking then.If anyone has seen anything as elegant as that demetrios dress but with attached sleeves them please let me know.
Had a little look at the milly bridal shop on ebeay and I wouldnt be happy to use them, just over 96%+,lots of neutral and loads of withdrawn feedback which was likely negs too.Lots of the + even saying del time not good.
The other one asapbay has 99.5%+ and low neutrals, none of the + comments had anything like the ones on milly re late dresses etc and none withdrawn.
Glad people here have had a good experience with milly bridal though.
I will be going for asapbay."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
I'm top heavy too and was worried about gravity having its usual effect :rotfl:.
I have a strapless dress with great underwear and a lace up back which keeps everything where it should be.
Have you tried any on? If so were you wearing a good strapless bra? I found it made a huge amount of difference.
How about spaghetti straps and a lace bolero?Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Ah, I found the link that gave me some concern: http://www.bridalonlinestore.com/Collection/ebay.asp?i=72525516843
Admittedly it is from a rival store but it did give me some pause for concern.
Regarding Milly Bridal's late delivery, things have definitely slowed up with them the last few weeks due to the earthquake. Some of the workers' families were affected. I think that quite a few companies, not just them will be affected.0 -

I am always dubious about any warnings coming from a rival company. If you look at the third dress they ordered, then at the first picture of the dress they got for that order, you will see that there is material hanging just on her waist under her right arm. This is not on any of the other pictures for that dress. I wonder why.

Hi Showtunesgirl, I mailed Landy Bridal(asapbuy) yesterday to ask if everything was ok with the workers etc and to send my love to those affected by the earthquake, and got a letter back thanking me for my concern but that everyone was ok and nobody was affected.0 -
I just hope everybody gets their dresses, whichever company you've used. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!
