Still not heard anything so I contacted the email address on their website to ask them to check if they had received my claim.

I did it online last summer (2008) and definitely remember entering all the names/dates/flight numbers etc, but on checking through my paperwork and email inbox couldn't find any sort of confirmation

Anyway, I got an email back and they have no record of my claim  so I have now resubmitted, and have a confirmation email, a saved screenshot AND a printout of my claim this time :o.

Guess it'll take a while before I hear anything more though.

    There is a freephone telephone number - 0800 043 0343
They've always been really helpful when I've spoken to them, and you get an immediate response too!

Hi, I've heard nothing since my claim over 2 years ago, so I tried the freephone number but it's just an automated service - I couldn't get through to an actual person. So, I've emailed them to give them my details again and to ask if they have my claim registered on their system. Hopefully I'll hear back from them soon and if it turns out they don't have my claim on their system I'm hoping they'll push it through quickly.
    Fingers crossed

  • I notice that this thread is almost three years old and the last discussion nearly 12 months ago. I booked tickets to Florida on 20/09/04 but strangely have only just been notified about this situation for the very first time today! Is this simply due to a huge backlog of affected passengers? Anyway, has anybody actually made any progess with this or am I wasting my time filling in this form?
