I received a cheque for £36.21 this morning which was for BA flights during the period. I didn't have records for all the flights, so only gave my BA Executive Club number in the claim. There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more...0

Hurrah!
Got the refund cheque today for a trip on Virgin me and my (now) OH took to New York in 2005. £20.12 for the two return tickets :T
Strange that they did not deposit it directly as I gave them the correct IBAN codes etc. The letter claims I got a cheque as 'an ACH deposit was not available ...because your bank does not accept such deposits...'.
Very strange - why then do my bank publish the IBAN number on my statementNow I'll have to pay postage to bank the cheque.

Hubby and I did laugh when we opened the envelope to find a cheque for a whopping £4.84! (I have told him not to spend it all at once)

This is a follow on from my post(#12)on this thread. Got a cheque for £6.71 today. I couldn't stop laughing when I opened it this evening - I was expecting a tad more. Anyway its a moral victory rather than a financial one for me.
Good luck to all who claimed.0 -

thank you richard branson0 -
I received my check today. Waiting for my partner's check to arrive. It was my first and only flight on VA, so it wasn't hard to remember! Thank you MSE!0

Hmmm - I don't think there is much reason to be thankful to him for. After all, if VA hadn't tried to run a cartel with BA in the first place that £53.66 would have been in your pocket rather than Sir Richards for the past 3 or 4 years.......0 -
Just received a cheque for £6.71
Return journey from UK/St Lucia
Amount seems pathetic for long haul journey.
Wonder how much the settlement administrator received from my compensation ?0 -
