I believe that the general view was always that this matter would take some time to resolve. It is still going through due legal process in the U.S. and these things tend to take a lot of time. IMHO it's probably not the sort of matter that will be sorted out in a few weeks, more likely many months.

Saw this link on Virgin Atlantic's website and registered again there for a claim pack. I have been given a reference number and it says they will start sending out packs on 14th July. You can also submit your claim online.

I'm not convinced yet, I think first person who gets there cheque should report back here and as a bonus Martin :money: comes up with a bottle of  bubbly for them. Sounds fair to me, or will it take longer to get than the refund? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

There's also a link on the BA website home page HERE.

It's the same URL as before, but the site has now been updated.

As jackiblack says, hopefully payment will now be made fairly soon, but it will probably still be several more months as there is a Fairness Hearing on 26 September 2008 in San Francisco to consider whether the Settlement is fair, reasonable and adequate. At the Fairness Hearing, the Court will decide whether to approve the Settlement and the request for the lawyers’ fees and expenses.

There is a full FAQ's section at the website.
