    Morning all:j

    Happy Birthday TMD:D

Got LO's test results back yesterday, apparently there is nothing wrong with her:confused:
Although they were only testing for C-Diff, E-coli etc.
Thinking it may be some kind of food intolerance. Hope so, otherwise she's going to have to have loads of tests:o
Had the first cuppa of the day, going to go tackle some dailies;)

  • Morning everyone.

Happy Birthday TMDin debt, hope you have a great day.

JillD- huge congrats on your 3.5lbs
As for me time, I normally read or maybe do a crossword from the big book of them DH bought me, or trawl through all the cookery books I have for inspiration. A friend gave me a womens relaxation music CD last year for my birthday and it's fab, even just putting that on I do feel less stressed.

G&B- what's the next step for your duaghter now, is she any better?

    AnW'smum- be thinking of you

Dusty- hope the reflexology session is v enjoyable, i love having my feet rubbed!

Did all the ironing y/day afternoon whilst listening to radio 4.

Told DS that at 9am we are going to do his homework and then tidy his room. That'll be the morning gone.

    Have a good day everyone.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Does anyone here shop at ASDA? I bought fruit there 3 days ago and its a pile of crap! The apples were really weird:confused: I always buy pink lady apples, and the flesh is usually nice and white, but these were all brown, not bashed and bruised though. The melon i bought is mouldy and soft after 3 days(i've not opened it). This must be why they are so cheap, because the stuff they sell is !!!!

Morning reporting in for duty-so how did it go yesterday-well after a fullish day at work here's what I managed to achieve:

Thundering Thursday- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
[strike]Vacuum floors and sofas-that's a Saturday job for me as little man helps to earn extra pocket money[/strike]
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything & water & wipe the poor neglected plants! Yes I can do that[/STRIKE] 19 month little miss is not bad with a duster wither
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe-already done as toddler in the house
[STRIKE]Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets-Yep[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself-[/STRIKE] dreadful there was enough dog hair under there to make another dog!
    Again Saturday
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister-Yep[/STRIKE]
Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc-er no
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. Are there any that need rehoming?-Nightmare job all dumped in dining room waiting for OH to put coat rack back up from when he took it down 3 weeks ago!
[STRIKE]Wipe skirtings, doorframes and other paintwork-Yep[/STRIKE]
    Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.. the bottom 6 inches is just rubbish it has been there so long I'm surprised it isn't compost!!
    • Change any dead lightbulbs in the house!
    • Clean a radiator or two.
    • Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
    • HHI.. get that mountain gone!
Extras: emptied all bins and put bin out as bin day
    cooked tea
    2 x packed lunches
    clothes out for the morning
    washed and dried pots
    hoovered hallway

not checked for Friday's list but am confident

  • Morning all.
TMD - Happy Birthday, hope you have a good one.

AnWsmum - Hugs to you and hope you are feeling ok

GandB - Poor DD hope her tummys not too sore. As for fruit from ASDA, I have found lately that fruit and veg from most supermarkets doesn't last 5 minutes. I keep meaning to go to a farm shop but, the nearest one to me is about 10 miles away, just finding time to go every week.

Have a good day all, 7 hours till DH home!!!!
Need to sort my life out! :T
