    Morning all

    Happy Birthday TMD :)

I'll be thinking about you AnW'sMum

One load of washing done and spread round indoors.

    DD's bed remade.

    Vacuumed right through downstairs.

Transferred a load of free CDs (from newspaper) into a shoebox. They were in an old CD box but it was broken and driving me nuts so as soon as we got a shoebox I nabbed it. I'm all for chucking them away but DH knows they are there.......if he wants them, why doesn't he play them? We've got loads of DVDs the same and I've watched the couple I want to but most of them are war films etc. Maybe I could just "lose" a couple every week.....it's a plan ;)

The council grass cutters have just done the green out the front. Seems an early start to the season this year:confused:

My lawn could do with cutting but like you Pollybear thought it was still too early - given the amount of hard frost we have been getting recently.

    Morning all,

Finally caught up from yesterday afternoon, came into study to tidy up the desk and PC area and decided that as there were a lot of DVD/CD making a mess of the desk I would clear them out and pack up the ones which I wanted to keep and chuck/charity shop the ones which I didnt - result is one boxed packed up to take and two boxes for charity and one empty large bookcase.:T

G&B - hope your DD is better soon it must be really worrying not knowing what is actually wrong.
TMD - Happy Birthday hope you head is okay after all that red wine.
galvant - well done with your stopping smoking your signature is looking good just think what treats you will be able to buy yourself.
AnW - thinking of you keep strong.

Dropped hubby at airport - off to dublin for rugby

    phoned solicitor re new house

    Still to do -

    hoover through main traffic area

    Hi JillD

Just read you sig - 13.5 lbs - sooo impressed. I've struggled with the same 14 lbs for at least 10 years now, so I take my hat off to you.

Go, go, go. You can do it.

    TMD xx

Hi Engadine - how far is the Race for Life? Is it a one location race or nationally available for all to enter? I've just taken up running again after a long time absent. Could a novice do it?
Havent read thread yet so apologies if someone already replied.
Its 5k (3 miles) and yes a novice could do it. I took up running 2 years ago in the April and ran Race for Life in that July. There are events all acorss the country on varying days, its a great atmosphere, women only and you dont have tio run, walking it is fine, Its in aid of Cancer Research and full of people remembering loved ones lost and loved ones who've survived and people who've survived the disease themselves. Amazing vibe to the day. I'm hoping to do it this year :D

Pollybear, i had the same thought about 'losing' DH dvds a couple at a time, the problem is it gets too noticeable after a while:rotfl: I do do it with clothes of his i dont like though:o
Luckily DH realised his dvd collection was getting ridiculous and ebayed the lot recently, we are now £720 richer and our sitting room is a lot less cluttered. Result i think:D

g&b your poor daughter, how horrible for her. And for you. Its awful when they are in discomfort or pain, you just want to take it for them dont you. Hope they get to the bottom of it soon

Also, I shop at Asda and their fruit and veg used to be rubbish but actually our branch sells quite good stuff now, its got a lot better pver the last couple of years. Maybe you were just unlucky ??
