Well so much for me getting home by 4pm and being able to make up for the lost time yesterday and Tuesday! It didn't quite go according to plan.

Working from home tomorrow, so will skive off for an hour or so and get some flying round the house done!

Considering I have been missing in action last couple of days the house isn't looking too bad, better than I had expected!

Anyway much better results to post tomorrow night.

    Have a good Friday!

  • I'm doing loads of D&DD's recipes coz basically, they're cheap and fill DS (6yo) and DD (4yo) up as they're both going though growth spurts right now as well lhas having HHHUUUUUGGGGGEEEE appetites. All the Dinner Ladies and Mum Helpers regularly approach me in the school playground and comment on how well they both eat; nothing phases them; they'd eat the table legs if they were edible; how do you get your kids to eat everything?; mine's a nightmare etc., It gets a bit embarrasing sometimes coz I often wonder if they really think my kids are pigs and I don't feed them, but honestly, they are healthy weight and eat absolutely EVERYTHING I give them. I'm not being smug, honest, I'm terribly proud of them but jeez, the constant comments from other does make me wonder sometimes!

Hi the race for life is 5K, there are races all over the country on different dates, check out the website for your nearest one www.raceforlife.org Novices can easily do it, you don't have to run it all, walk it or do a bit of both. Last year I ended up walking it as my friend had back problems and couldn't run.

    Evening all :D

Hope everyone is well, for some reason I'm still up (should have gone to bed an hour ago really) decided to go to costco and metrocentre this afternoon, well evening, ds1 took a bit poorly while we were there with high temperature etc so looking forward to a fun night/day tomorrow. The boys were ok behaviour wise, better than usual. Got loads of things I wanted and some that we needed inc a small safe to stop my mother moaning about the money laying about in the house. Spent a lot in the £ shop on grass seed, lint rollers etc aswell, we're just going to try what we did in the last house by throwing grass seed all over and see how it does, it grew better where we did that in the last house than it did where we'd prepared it all properly.

Anyway, housework, didn't do much more apart from put the costco shop away :o I did do more studying (more than I have done all week put together :o ) and will do more of that tomorrow. Ds2s room needs the most attention tomorrow, poo tip in there again, might even brave emptying his big toy cupboard (need an award for opening the door without getting splattered with stuff)

trulymadlydeeply_indebt! happy birthday (in future I am calling you TMD!!)

Well done with the weight loss aswell JillD I'm 1lb off my next stone and it's driving me insane, trying not to weigh myself every day incase it eventually comes off. As for relax time, I find doing daft puzzles helps me switch off from everything else, reading sometimes helps, but I am another who finds it hard to switch off aswell. Sometimes I have to leave the house to switch off, because if I am at home I just have to do something.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

Bing Bong good morning campers. Hoping we are all bright this morning.

TMD Happy Birthday, enjoy whatever you are doing today.
Lil_me hope your DS is feeling better today
Jill I so understand about the me time - I enjoy it being on the list as it is making me do a few things for me - it might be to soak my feet, read a bit, go for coffee, chat on the phone. For me it is just something I would nor prioritise until the flying was done and now I do once a week.

Been awake since 5. There was a fair bit of a bad feeling at the end of the meeting last night which left me feeling cross but also glad that my time on the PTA is done and that I nolonger need to give up time to it. I have masses of files/emails on my pc which I can delete now.

Want to get my dalies done before the school run so I can nip to the farm shop before my reflexology session.

    Morning ladies

AnWsmum - Wishing you the strength to get through the inquest. It must be a pretty awful time for you. I will be thinking of you and if I happen to be passing your door with the microfibre cloth, I'll do a quick S&S for you : )

Trmaddeep - Happy birthday :bdaycake: hope you don't have too much of a headache this morning.

JillD - me time can be anything you want. Even if it's just sitting watching the birds in the garden for five minutes. It doesn't have to be doing your nails or having a soak in the bath. It's about doing nothing associated with housework, caring for family etc. etc. it's half an hour or so for YOU to do what YOU want.

Right, today's list is easy peasy for me, the kids do their room. I'll have a think of things I need to do over the weekend. What's on the list will depend on whether or not I'm working - there's the potential for me to have to spend both days working from home. I shall find out later when I get to the office.

    Have a good day ladies
