Evening everyone - again. Well here is my list for the week so far, wasn't going to put it all on but, I am so chuffed with myself with what I have done that I thought, hey, why not.
Marvellous Monday - Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 1
[strike]Check fire alarms are working [/strike]

Fling open that window and blow those cobwebs out!! Air the room!!! Nothing worse than a bedroom smelling of parps!
[/strike][strike]Remove and wash bed linen.[/strike]
Level 2
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen.. Will do next week
[strike]30 minutes floor clearance.. that includes floordrobe and junk![/strike]
Level 3
[strike]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/strike]
[strike]Sort 10 things from a wardrobe/chest of drawers that you can get rid of[/strike]... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! likewise socks!.. and it is time those knickers you have had for 37 years were binned.. let hem go liberate yourself!! Will do undie drawer over weekend
[strike]Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs...[/strike]
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more- [strike]39 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter[/strike]
- wipe or dust over the upstairs light fittings.. don't go injuring yourself please you have the rest of the week to work through!
- [strike]Clean windows in these rooms[/strike]
- Wipe down the skirting in the bedroom and on the landing.
Level One
[strike]Clean floors in these rooms[/strike]

Air the room.. fling open the windows and let in the springy air!! I don't care if it is 13' below!! lol

[strike]Clean baths/shower, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks[/strike]
Clear any clutter from desk I will try to do this after school run tomorrow
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!! Ditto
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc Ditto
Level Three

Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc whatever needs cleaning.
[/strike][strike]Wipe down tiles in bathroom[/strike].. defragment your pc while doing this. Comp defrags itself every week (only found out when I went to do it)
[strike]Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required[/strike]
[strike]Collect any stray laundry from upstairs. [/strike]
Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:- [strike]
- Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
- [/strike][strike]Wipe down the doors and frames in these rooms.[/strike]
- Clean the radiators in these rooms
- [strike]Wash the windows in these rooms.. and shine the mirrors[/strike]
- HHI... a bit more gone! All gone!!!!
Level One
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/strike]
Level Two
[strike]Sweep and mop floors[/strike]

Sort & clean fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)

Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean out the cupboard full of pasta and packets and pickles..
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those filters and drawers for ickiness, gackiness and fluff!!

Choose one or more of:- [strike]
- Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
- Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
- [/strike]Clean oven if it really needs it.. or just do the hob or a knob!!.. Mines gross Too. I will do it over the weekend

- 29 fling boogie.. GO!
- Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET
- [/strike]Thundering Thursday- Living Room, Hall and Stairs

Vacuum floors and sofas

Dusting, even if around everything & water & wipe the poor neglected plants!
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself

[strike]Wipe light switches[/strike], sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) [strike]and banister[/strike]
Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc

Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. Are there any that need rehoming?
[/strike]Wipe skirtings, doorframes and other paintwork
Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –- Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.. the bottom 6 inches is just rubbish it has been there so long I'm surprised it isn't compost!!

- Change any dead lightbulbs in the house!
- [/strike]Clean a radiator or two.
- Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
- HHI.. get that mountain gone!
Had a phone call tonight DH defo coming home tomorrow, about 4-5pm. Just enough time to hoover through upstairs, which as your posts say it's the kids room so they can help me saturday - yeah right!!!:rotfl:
Having an indian takeaway tom night, won't be doing much flying as not seen DH for 2½ weeks, mind you could get a bit done upstairs while girls attack him and argue over him. But I'm definitely having an early night:T

Just finished watching telly - albeit had a little snooze too! Oh well. Didn't get the dusting finished but the ironing mountain has vanished!
Well done JillD - great result - wish I had your willpower! There's always too many biccies and choccies in the staff room!!
Off to bed - got my assembly to do in morning. Wish me luck!
(I only volunteered 'cos it seemed like a good idea at the time!!!!)

Managed to hoover living room before I went out so just the wiping to do. Hoover upstairs now ready for kids rooms on the weekend.
Mudbath am I supposed to sit and relax for the whole time when I get back? Sounds cool, I have never done that, can I read, how relaxed do I have to be?
