  • Hey, good morning everyone,

Well I at least managed to get the main things done last night - but was knackered fell asleep at 9 :o Although am back an hour earlier from dropping everyone off today - so will crack on once I have finished a coffee.

JillD - well done with your weight loss!

SSS - 1st port of call would be CP and look in add/remove programs to see if there isn't anything that doesn't belong in there, or if there is an icon for what he installed then right click and see if it has an uninstall option. I take it you have already cleared browser cache, temp files etc? if not do that then run a scan - you can download Adaware free. I don't know how - but I had a prob with a driver for DVD drive and ended up having to system restore and roll it back to a time when I knew it was working ok (doesn't delete stuff like pics/music - so you won't lose that data) Although there are people who know loads more over on the techie forum who will know loads of other different things to try (I used to be really good with computers :o 7 years as SAHM means that I am better at getting unknown sticky substances from places they shouldn't be :o ) I remember the days when DH used call me up in a panic and I could tell him how to fix stuff - now it is the other way round :rotfl:

ok I am going to do Friday's list over the weekend - between parties, swimming etc, because last nights dishes from dinner are still out  and I need to go into town and pick up some bits for DH - not enough hours in the day just now...

  • Morning all:j

    Happy Birthday TMD:D

Got LO's test results back yesterday, apparently there is nothing wrong with her:confused:
Although they were only testing for C-Diff, E-coli etc.
Thinking it may be some kind of food intolerance. Hope so, otherwise she's going to have to have loads of tests:o
Had the first cuppa of the day, going to go tackle some dailies;)

G&B - how old is LO? and how do they work out what kind of food intolerance she has? xx

Thanks for that CB. I will have a look at that when I come back from the shops. Nothing is ever straight forward is it?? However, I now know who to ask about 'unknown sticky substances' ;)

    Ooooooh, post 500!!
  • SSS, she is 4, just got off the phone from the GP and she has referred us to a specialist. Will get an appt letter soon apparently. I imagine to rule out food intolerances they can either do some kind of test, or can just eliminate things from her diet til they find out what she is failing to digest:confused:

Jill - Fab news on th weight loss. All my motivation in that department has departed:o

GnB - Must be a relief to know they are finally gonna do something about it, lets hope they can find out the course soon.

AnW - Hugs to you sweetie.

TMD - Happy birthday to you! Hope you enjoyed your birthday bonus (if you got one - lol!)

Pigpen - Why are people thinking your a man in disguise?? You have far too much common sense to be male;)

Cracked on with stuff so today i have:-

    Done a mountain of dishes
    Swept kitchen floor
    Tidied lounge (again) and hoovered
    Popped to shop
Mince defrosting in freezer (forgot to take it out last night)
Done littles room (just need to hoover)
    WM on
About to put BM on to make dough for iced cream buns:D

Lack of sleep came to ahead last night and DH boiled over. Things seem calmer today but my eyes are terrible from crying so much and my head is still banging. 5 years of broken nights sleep is not good (and I mean we can count on 2 hands the number of nights we have not been woken at least one). Still onwards and upwards.

    To do:

    HHI
    Hoover through
Mop porch, bathroom and kitchen floor
    S & S bathroom
    Baking
    Collect DD2 from nursery
Tidy our room (few bits to put away)
Post parcel - MUST DO TODAY!

    Cuppa first me thinks:D

Does anyone here shop at ASDA? I bought fruit there 3 days ago and its a pile of crap! The apples were really weird:confused: I always buy pink lady apples, and the flesh is usually nice and white, but these were all brown, not bashed and bruised though. The melon i bought is mouldy and soft after 3 days(i've not opened it). This must be why they are so cheap, because the stuff they sell is !!!!

I used to but was finding the same problem all too regular, now use local fruit shop and get a weekly delivery from bellfield organics - they deliver to Edin too if you are interested.
  • Happy Birthday to TMD :j

Galantvr4 - well done!!! the side effects will only last a short time - the benefits will last a lifetime (and a longer one too!) - hope your cough is subsiding...

G&B - I am glad your gp has found a way forward to figure out what the problem is for your lo. I think can do tests on skin for certain allergies - although this was from watching documentaries - not 1st hand experience.

Kitchen looks normal again DW, S&S, floor swept, extra dishes washed.
