Hello all and especially to any newbies :hello:
Yet another headache, so I'm glad I'm working from home today. Went to the doc's earleir (walked coz I let DH take care to work).Doc has given me stuff to put up my nose for migraines, walked to pharmacy and DH nipped out (TG he was in warehouse today!) and picked me, then we dropped him at work and I came home. Had to go back for script later which I've now done.
JillD - thanks for that about the laptop. Will certainly check it out.
Soappie - these twigs are itching! D'you think someone's blown our cover. Personally, I think the latex gloves were OTT for the Squirrel (that should have been my name on here - always hoarding!)

 ORF Update
IT IS NOT THE GARDNER
He has been officially eliminated from my enquiries. He doesn't even have a car anymore! So it is some scumbag freeloader! But they haven't freeloaded this morning - more's the pity, so it's purchase the network webcam methinks.
Interestingly, as well, BFUP has just walked her dog through the car park where my car is parked up with no pay and display ticket and I haven't got a parking ticket yet.... this is very curious.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Not long back from the shops and there are various packets of crisps, chocolate biscuits and other very calorie laden items strewn across the floor as I couldn't be bothered to pack anything away after I dumped it in the dining room.
1. I was gasping for a cuppa and something to eat and
2. I wanted to get on here for the ORF update!
Lunch eaten and soappie's message now read so I will be good and pack everything away and set to with the ironing.
Have a good afternoon everyone....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Afternoon all, been to town, actually spent most of the time in the library as I find it hard to come back out. Got a couple of books for me and loads for DS1 for his GCSE history course work which he starts next week - he prefers using the internet but the books will be good to browse through when I'm on here.
Towels nearly dry on the line.
Going to hoover downstairs and mop the floors then check I have everything ready to be removed from my house later!
Be back for a cuppa at 14:00
Poohbear lovely to hear from you and glad you are taking care of yourself
Soappie I am so glad it is not the gardener - how is the squirrelThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
galantvr4 another idea, cheat, copy and paste it whenever you need to use it :rotfl: I do the same with the euro symbol which I can never get to work.....wonder if what has the # symbol would be the £ sign...maybe use the £ sign I just typed to put it in your signature how much you've saved so far then you'll always have it handy to copy and paste.
Sitting room done!!! Kids watching Small Soldiers video they got yesterday, I love charity shops for cheap videos of films they haven't seen before or haven't watched for a long time, keeps them entertained for a bit when it's icky outside so I can get something done. One day I might be more organised...........

Yes, the perp has only been seen in the morning.
I want a parking ticket so that I can appeal it and force the council to stop allowing cars to park where they shouldn't and then charging them for the privilege!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
