Galant - when you are a rep, a lot of your "work" is done in bars til 0500 or waiting around on day trips for your guests to return - add that to the fact that I was a 25 year old often working on my own with complete strangers abroad and with a driver I might not have met before the trip and the cigarettes were a literal kind of smokescreen security blanket. It was a lot of fun but the most stressful job I've ever done - I was often with guests for up to 20 hours a day but still "on my own" - no wonder I smoked!I'd rather be watching CSI!0

ChasingButterflies wrote: »Just quickly - galantvr have you checked on control panel (windows I presume....) that you region settings are UK? Dad had the same problem when he got a new keyboard and I think that was how it was fixed... Could be entirely wrong though!
ChasingButterflies - I'm having the same problem. I unticked a box with Asia settings but still cant get the pound sign to work. BF was downloading football from an Asian tv channel and its disappeared ever since. Any ideas?0 -

Really tired and got a bit of a headache from this morning. My brother just phoned to ask if he can come over, i'm so glad my house isnt as bad as it was. Its actually reasonably presentable:DThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I've caught up on the thread! So operation ORF is a goer! Cool! Mind you, could you let me know sooner if the daily ORF operation is suspended. I don't have a laptop in the tree, now that would look really odd...a squirrel with a laptop!?!?!! I've been sat up in that tree freezing my nuts off (I had a supply of hazel nuts so I looked more authentic!).
Off to polish a mirror or two xx0 -
