Sitting room done!!! Kids watching Small Soldiers video they got yesterday, I love charity shops for cheap videos of films they haven't seen before or haven't watched for a long time, keeps them entertained for a bit when it's icky outside so I can get something done.

• Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.. the bottom 6 inches is just rubbish it has been there so long I'm surprised it isn't compost!!

Having a successful day, even though it did start badly - all slept in and only just made dental appointment but no treatment needed for any of us so thats good.

Had a quick catch up here, soappie disappointing that no one has yet turned up to park - do you have any idea how often they had parked before?

Off to get a quick shower before DD2 is returned from her play and out peace is shattered, after that I will tackle this paperwork.

Am i allowed to be grumpy again
Took LO to her hospital appointment, left at 10am as its only about 20mins away, roadworks a complete nightmare! Every corner i turned there was more(can you tell its getting to the end of the financial year?) Eventually got there at 11am(appt at 10.50am so not too bad). Only for the girl at the desk to say 'oh, you're not on the list':mad: She asks if i have an appt letter, i give it to her and she says its been changed to the 12th of march:mad: Nice of them to let me know. They say they will try and squeeze me in, after an hour of waiting i asked what was going on, she toddled off and came back to say DD needed an xray, which obviously was completely heaving. I decided i couldnt be bothered to wait for that so told them i was coming back on the 12th! Am now eating biscuits to make myself feel better:D

Just quickly - galantvr have you checked on control panel (windows I presume....) that you region settings are UK? Dad had the same problem when he got a new keyboard and I think that was how it was fixed... Could be entirely wrong though!

Pigpen - that is fab I bet she is excited
Floors mopped and I am marooned so a little bit of paperwork sorting whilst they dry. Good job I had the sense to make a cuppa
