Morning, well I've opened the post, glared at the 15 day elec/gas bill that's arrived, will get DP to check the readings as these are based on estimates and is £40 gas £20 electric for 15 days.....If my usage is anything near this I best up the DD which is only at £74 PCM or I'll end up with a stonker of a bill again.
Dishwasher emptied, put cleaner stuff in because it's not cleaning anything and set away again. Washing machine filled and on. Breakfasts made, dogs been out and to be honest that's about all I have managed to do. I think the grey & miserable day has made me feel the same, yesterday I was bright like the weather (ok DP will say I was cold aswell) amazing how much it effects your mood.
Suppose I should get off my bottom and do something but I really can't be bothered yet, so I think I'll have 30 mins slob on the sofa with the laptop then aim for a HHC at 11.30am....see if I can motivate myself. I might even get dressed properly after that, I'm half dressed, did the top half, just got pj bottoms on because they are comfy. Terrible when I have a day where I don't need to dash around everywhere, which doesn't happen often, as I take ages to even get myself dressed. One day I might be more organised...........

Been doing some writing and number work with DD2, which ended up with her drawing and cutting out and glueing but she had fun!
Thrown some sausage rolls in the oven (and some spicy wedges) so will scoff them soon I hope, am feeling cold and hungry. DD2 at nursery this pm so my action plan is to do some ironing. Next load in WM but not switched on yet. Have done meal plan for next week but if inlaws come over saturday instead of sunday not sure if to switch roast days over. Must find out their plans later.
Will also think about throwing a coffee cake together.0 -
Good morning, just a flying visit before kids and DH come in for lunch. I am doing dailies but have left everything else to those who are much more capable than me. Still on my 'me' time with special exercises etc.
I am printing up daily flying lists for others to do and they have done a few things so we have hope that the house won't totally collapse under all the detritus that accumulates in a few days.
Next week I will be away all week at a spa so will totally forget flying ever existed.

I found it much easier and not so worrying once I had two at high school because they would have someone eles there to look out for them too.
DS3 went to a totally different school to all the others and was really happy but did not do so well academically. I knew the other school picked out kids and hot housed them .
DD got really stressed by it all and I knew DS3 would have been really unhappy but would come out with higher qualifications. In other words I helped them choose somewhere where they would be happy rather than the best exam results. ( I was a year head at the school where the kids were hot housed and I had no control over it. Needless to say I left and kids moved too! )
Must go and do my exercises!!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Afternoon all
Two loads of washing done, including DD's bedding. Out on the line, blowing round well although it's cloudy out.
Dusted living room/computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.
Hope everyone's OK.0 -
Poohbear.. my oldest 2 are on the gifted and talented for 4 and 5 subjects.. DS2 is on school action plus and DD2 will do just as well wherever she goes because that is the type of child she is.. DS3 will go to the same school as the other 2 boys. Both school hot-house as well.. but.. only certain pupils.. the ones they know have the potential to do extremely well. I have chosen the best schools possible without having to pay.. which considering our LEA is bottom on the school league tables isn't that fantastic!! DD2 will be really upset if she doesn't get a place but she should as DD1 is there (the boys are at an all boys school) Let's put it like this.. if she doesn't get a place there will be hell to pay.. especially after they have just made a new form group for the Polish children.. 'not at the expense of the local children' will be the headline!!!! We shall see.. one more week!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Other jobs done
Cleaned the loos and bathroom sinks before I took the children to school! I even managed to make scotch pancakes for them for breakfast. How good am I? Mind you it's doing Flylady all week which has helped. I'm definitely going to be a regular on this thread.
Got two loaves on their first rise
Wiped down the extractor hood which I forgot to do yesterday. Well it wasn't on the list!
Washed teatowels/dish cloths, put them in TD
Load of clothes now washed. Will have to go in TD as it's either raining or threatening to.
I didn't manage to mop the floor last night
I did some more re-arranging of the dining room. It's still got boxes in it from our move - mainly DH's stuff (and he's always complaining that I'm untidy)
Yesterday I managed to complete one of Monday's tasks. I bought some new knickers and chucked out my ancient old things.
Still to do
Mop the kitchen floor.
Do the vacuuming tasks for today.
Take stuff to the dump - DH has the car tomorrow so I want to do it today, but will do it on the way to picking up DS from school.
Update accounts on spreadsheet.
Long-term ''to do's"
Sort out photos and buy four photo albums, one for each of the children when they are older and one for me.
Buy CD racks so I can finally get the CDs out of the cardboard box and maybe get a chance to listen to some of them.
My friend's stepmum phoned me earlier to say that she had some girls clothes which a friend of hers had given her for her DD. They are too big for her though so she asked if I wanted them. Obviously I said yes!:j There are loads!! My DD's wardrobe is stuffed full atm but I'm sure we can get rid of some of the clothes she already has. I do like a freebie.:D
My DD2 had her first "accident" today, which isn't bad considering she's only been out of nappies since Monday evening! I even took her to town yesterday without any problems.

Hey there,
Just caught up with thread - and then my mind went blank  - in mitigation 3 hrs sleep and not enough coffee yet!!!
ok so far I have:
Taken little people to school
Taken DH to work
Stopped at charity shop on way home and emptied boot
HHI
Descaled coffee machine
WM on.
I managed to spend a grim amount of time doing an ironing blitz last night and it doesn's look much better  Must stop putting WM on
So in order of importance I need to:
Make supper so it ready to pop in oven when I get back,
Make treats for lunch boxes,
Check fruit situation and write shopping list for once kids are in bed,
Hoover lounge and check sofa, sort cushions etc.
Fold PJ's and put in homes, pair socks and home,
Sweep hall, hoover stairs, Mop hall and landing.
Wrap presents for this weekends parties, find cards and get ds to write them.
Pick up kids, collect DH,
Feed everyone, homework, shower, bed.
Lounge had a really good going over last week - and is the one room that there are no toys allowed...
... don't want to move - nice and comfy here... ok thinking of tired, hungry troops.0 -
I've cleaned the bathroom and sorted out the kitchen. Just waiting for DH to go out and then I'm going to dust and hoover.
I've put more washing in..its never ending!!
Going to put a spud in the microwave for lunch...catch yous later...0
