pigpen - 12 years of breastfeeding

She had 2.. then they all had one after dinner.. then they got one in the packed lunches and hubby sarfed a couple.. there are 7 left I think

yep.. 12 years.. including the better part of a year of tandem feeding DD's 3 & 4
    Thanks for the update soappie.
pigpen and sorry cant remember who else was having fun with the dietician, 'feed them lots of crappy stuff' seems to be the standard reply:confused: My daughter was sent to a dietician when she was about 6 months old, yes they put her on a higher calorie milk. There other reccomendation though was to make all her baby food with loads of butter and cream:eek: She was very skinny and not putting on weight because of her serious heart condition, feeding her lots of stuff high in cholesterol seemed slightly dangerous

That's what I think too.. they don't get any nutritional value from the high fat food either.. I think it is disgusting they are advocating such practices!!! high calorie milk is a bit different to junk food though I would think.. but then I've not checked the labels!! Surely they'd be better having vitamin supplements and more fruit and veggies!?

    Morning All

Thanks for the advice JillD re working for neighbour. Situation diverted as DH has a "thing" after work so will not be home until at least 8pm. She was fine about it.

Hubby up and out at 6.30 as in London today so had to catch the train. DD1 came home grotty (full of cold) from friends house so was dosed with calpol, olbas oil and put to bed. She woke up at 10 (just as we were going to bed) so came in our bed. DD2 came in at 2.30am so I ended up getting into bed with her - may goodness their matresses are so uncomfortable. May look at getting her a softer one in the hopes that she will sleep through:mad: .

DD1 dropped at school, why is it when you get there they complain about being ill, not at home when you are running round getting them ready:confused: , said did she want to go back home via the doctors but got the "no - I'll see how it goes at school" with tears in her eyes - how bad do i feel. Teacher took her in and said they would put a warm pad on her ear - just hope they phone me to collect her if she is grotty. Came home had a coffee and mars bar and just thrown up.

Wow huge post and nothing about flying so I best get cracking on with todays list. Will keep checking for updates on the undercover operation!

Michelle - no post yesterday (I dont think) hope your ok??
